Tech N9ne praises current Kansas City #Chiefs players’ humility: ‘Everybody is so down to earth’ w/ @EdEastonJr

The many fans of Chiefs Kingdom come from various walks of life, and some well-known celebrities have unique connections with the team and franchise culture.

Chiefs Wire’s Ed Easton Jr. spoke to legendary rapper Tech N9ne about his interaction and feedback with current Chiefs players. He selected his all-time starting tight end between Tony Gonzalez and Travis Kelce.

“Everybody is so down to earth,” Tech explained. “You would think that when people make a lot of money, sometimes they lose their heads. These guys have not lost their heads at all. Man, people say the same thing about me. I’ve been a multimillionaire for some years and treat people how I want to be treated.

“I get the same vibe from Pat (Patrick Mahomes), I get the same vibe from (Travis) Kelce and Chris Jones, everybody, man, I’m saying everybody shows love and respect, (Isiah) Pacheco, all of them show big love and humility, man. Really good dudes, it’s really cool.”

Tech N9ne was one of the original performers at the first ‘Kelce Jam’ last year. The Chiefs All-Pro tight end curated a lineup of his favorite artists to entertain the Kansas City community. He made the difficult decision to respond to the question of which superstar tight end in franchise history he would choose to start for his all-time Chiefs team.

“I’m going to have to say Travis Kelce. I have love for Tony Gonzalez. I just did a signing with him a few months ago down at Union Station,” said Tech. “Man, good to see him. I’m saying that I have to go with Travis Kelce. He’s a problem.”

Tech N9ne talks new album, predicts Chiefs’ three-peat chances in new song

Tech N9ne talks new album, predicts Kansas City #Chiefs’ three-peat chances in new song w/ @EdEastonJr

The Kansas City Chiefs are focused on completing the unprecedented three-peat this season as they seek another trip to the Super Bowl. Each season has its rally inspiration, and it appears the creator of ‘Red Kingdom’ has another song to motivate the team.

Chiefs Wire’s Ed Easton Jr. spoke to award-winning artist Tech N9ne about his new album ‘Tech N9ne Collabos – COSM’ (Class of Stange Music) and a song from the project that helps predict the Chiefs’ 2024 season.

“My partner, Travis (O’Guin), came to me like we need another Collabo,” Tech explained. “We haven’t had one in seven years. I’m like, yo, I think I have a perfect name for it; we’re going to call it COSM, Class of Strange Music. This time, we will go outside of Strange Music artists and back to previous Strange Music artists all around the spectrum. I ended up having a song with Killer Mike and Hopson on it, with Ordained.

“I didn’t have any barriers to creating COSM. People who were with Strange (Music) aren’t with Strange (Music) anymore. People connected spiritually and musically. Strange (Music) also got a piece of that. I couldn’t name everybody because it’s so many, it’s such a big album, and the people in Kansas City that came through there are so many male and female rappers as well. I’m so proud of this project.”

Tech N9ne is on tour, but he provided a song from the new album that best describes the Chiefs’ mindset heading into the 2024 season.

“We’re the best team, and it will happen again. I have this song on COSM called ZOD (I Win, I Always Win). I say we win a whole lot, green light and no stops. I’m going to be your roadblock,” said Tech. “We always win, win, win. What? Again and again and again and again. It’s going to keep happening. ZOD is the prediction. That’s the one with Kevin Gates, Snow Tha Product, and Joey Cool on the song with me. ZOD tells you that we’re going to win, win, win, again and again and again and again. So that’s the prediction.
