Former LSU football player accused of kicking puppy repeatedly after past domestic abuse arrest

One former LSU football player has been accused of abuse to an animal.

Former LSU football player Ray Parker has been accused of repeatedly kicking a puppy named Kash, whose leg was broken to the point of having to be amputated after the occurrence.

This gruesome and saddening incident comes not long after Parker was accused of domestic abuse last fall.

LSU police issued an arrest warrant in September that accused Parker of aggravated cruelty to animals, which came not long after Parker had been arrested on counts of domestic violence, later released on bond.

He was taken into custody this week when law enforcement found him in Ruston, Louisiana and booked him into jail there.

Parker is being taken to Baton Rouge for booking on the felony charge, according to a report from The Advocate’s Lea Skene.

According to the warrant, Parker abused the dog on more than one occasion and broke a leg and a rib of the puppy.

Parker’s girlfriend took Cash and ultimately gave him over to the LSU vet school because she was unable to pay his vet bills for his treatment.
