The Los Angeles Rams (4-1) are on the road for a second straight week Sunday. They’ll visit the New York Giants (1-4), who are coming off a loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 5. Kickoff from MetLife Stadium is at 1 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Rams vs. Giants odds and lines, and make our best NFL picks, predictions and bets.
The Rams enter on extra rest following their Oct. 7 win over the Seattle Seahawks. They’ll be without starting CB Darious Williams, but other than that, the Rams are mostly healthy and will have all of their top players. The offense ranks eighth in points and ninth in yards, while the defense ranks 13th in points allowed per game.
The Giants are much more banged up. QB Daniel Jones seems on track to play after suffering a concussion last Sunday, but RB Saquon Barkley and WR Kenny Golladay are unlikely to play. For an offense that ranks 23rd in scoring, those are some big absences on that side of the ball. Defensively, it’s been a struggle, allowing 27.8 points per game.

Rams at Giants odds, lines, predictions and picks
Prediction
Rams 31, Giants 20
Money line
PASS. While the Rams will win, the -450 price is too expensive and risky.
Aside from an uncharacteristically poor performance against the Arizona Cardinals, the Rams have looked good in every game this season. They beat the Chicago Bears by 20, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by 10 and the Seattle Seahawks by nine. A three-point win over the Indianapolis Colts should’ve been by much more if not for a punt blunder.
The Giants stunned everyone with a Week 4 win over the New Orleans Saints in overtime, but they’re injured and don’t have the offense to keep up with the Rams.
Against the spread
Bet RAMS -9.5 (-110).
The Rams are 3-2 ATS, failing to cover against the Cardinals and Colts. The Giants are 2-3 ATS and have only been favored once this season.
The spread is steep because of the injuries New York is dealing with. Even if Jones plays, the Rams should be able to cover after seeing the way they dominated the Bears, Bucs and Seahawks.
Over/Under
BET OVER 48.5 (-115).
The Rams’ minor struggles have helped push the total Over in four of their five games this year.
The Giants have put up yards despite their 23rd ranking in points scored, largely because of their inability to punch it in in the red zone.
Even without Barkley and Golladay, the Giants should be able to create some explosive plays and won’t get completely shut down on offense. The Rams should keep up their efficient passing attack, too, which is why I like the OVER.
