The Dallas Cowboys added two more players to their roster on Friday and both came with a similar level of trepidation as their Thursday selection. Following up on their choice of DT Mazi Smith in the first round, the club added a tight end and a linebacker to the mix in Michigan’s Luke Schoonmaker and Texas’ DeMarvion Overshown.

Dallas continues to hone in on athleticism with their selections over the first two days, a trend likely to continue on Day 3 when they have four more picks. While the fanbase may be split on the worthiness of the two selections, the side which appreciates the picks can go all in on getting acquainted with them, starting with a gallery of then in action from their collegiate days.

The Dallas Cowboys’ win in Week 16 was much appreciated by the majority of the fanbase, who got a reprieve from the vocal minority and turf-infringing Eagles fans on their social media accounts. Dallas’ defense had some problems but outside of two or three plays, the Cowboys offense delivered timely presents to all the nice boys and girls who continue to dream of big things to come.

The game didn’t go as planned. Dallas went into their Week 15 contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a chance to punch their ticket to the dance. Instead, they left Florida stunned, after a third-down conversion ended up as a drop and a Pick-6 to leave the Cowboys wondering what happened.

In control for much of the game, things changed direction midway through the third quarter as the Cowboys’ defensive depth was unable to corral the up and coming Jacksonville offense. The loss dropped Dallas to 10-4, unable to celebrate a second consecutive playoff berth just yet. Here’s all of the action from the contest.

The NFL season reaches the quarter pole this week, or its approximate with an uneven 17-game schedule. Courtesy of their historic 33-point fourth quarter on Sunday, Dallas improved to 9-3 on the season with an emphatic 54-19 beatdown of the Indianapolis Colts. It’s something poetic about Cowboys owning a bunch of horses in the way they did.

Week 13 was the NFL’s My Cause, My Cleats weekend, where the normally stuffy league allows some individuality in footwear. Players from Dak Prescott to CeeDee Lamb to Trevon Diggs and Ezekiel Elliott repped various charities and foundations with their shoewear. The Cowboys pulled out their third straight win, what better way for fans to celebrate than to enjoy the pics from the game.

There’s nothing like proving the doubters wrong and the Dallas Cowboys have done just that. After a really bad first showing of the regular season that came on the heels of holding everyone out for the preseason, the team has now won three straight games. That they’ve done it without their franchise quarterback seems to be a testament to just how much talent their is on the roster.

Dallas was able to dominate their division rival Washington Commanders on Sunday afternoon, 25-10. The defense was once again stellar forcing two interceptions, notching two sacks with another two intentional grounding calls. The pressure was there, the backend coverage (for the most part) was there and the passing offense got a couple players back. All in all, it was a fine performance and worthy of commemoration.
