New wide receiver commit Paul Billups is already recruiting for UNC fresh off of his commitment.

Fresh off of a commitment to the UNC football program on Wednesday, 2023 wide receiver pledge [autotag]Paul Billups[/autotag] is already focused on recruiting for the Tar Heels.

According to Rivals national recruiting analyst Adam Friedman, Billups said there are already a few players he’s pushing for.

“I’m going to recruit a whole bunch of 757 guys to try to get them down there and try to get us to the National Championship,” Billups said. “I wantAssad Brown, Keylen Adams, Jordan Bass.”

Billups picked the Tar Heels over other finalists Michigan State and Virginia Tech. Billups is a 6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect and had dozens of programs originally involved in his recruitment.

Friedman went on to add that Billups’ desire to recruit other prospects should not go unnoticed.

“His addition should help in the recruitment other big time players from his area.”

With the commitment of Billups, UNC now has moved up in the 247Sports team rankings to No. 23 overall and No. 25 in the Rivals team rankings.

UNC lands four-star WR for 2023 class

The UNC football program has landed a commitment from a three-star wide receiver out of Virginia on Wednesday.

Mack Brown and the UNC football program has added to their 2023 recruiting class with another wide receiver.

On Wednesday, three-star receiver [autotag]Paul Billups[/autotag] pledged his verbal commitment to North Carolina, ending his recruitment. Billups picked the Tar Heels over Michigan State and Virginia Tech as his final three. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound receiver had dozens of offers in his recruitment but in the end, it’s the Tar Heels’ land the verbal.

Billups hails out of Chesapeake, Virginia and took official visits to Michigan State and North Carolina, while also taking an unofficial visit to Virginia Tech in his recruitment.

With the commitment of Billups, UNC now has moved up in the 247Sports recruiting rankings to No. 23 overall.

A wide receiver target on the Michigan State 2023 recruiting board will announce his college decision next week.

Three-star wide receiver Paul Billups revealed on Monday that he will commit on Aug. 24 at 3:!5 p.m. Billups hails from Chesapeake, Va. and plays for Western Branch High.

Billups ranks as the No. 79 wide receiver and No. 625 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2023 class. He’s also listed as the No. 14 player from the state of Virginia.

Based on the graphic Billups included in his commitment announcement, it appears he will be deciding between Michigan State, North Carolina and Virginia Tech. He holds offers from 16 schools in total, according to 247Sports.

Billups is currently projected to pick the Tar Heels, according to 247Sports’ crystal ball predictions. However, we will truly find out next week where he intends to continue his football career at the next level.
