A look at the tipoff time, odds and how to watch the 2021 NCAA Tournament National Championship Game between Gonzaga and Baylor.

The 2021 NCAA Tournament Championship Game between Gonzaga and Baylor is set for Monday night in Indianapolis as the two No. 1 seeds look for their first title in program history.

The Bears ran away from Houston on Saturday in the first half, building a 25-point lead that was never relinquished in a 78-59 win while the Bulldogs needed a last-second three-point shot from freshman Jalen Suggs to defeat UCLA in overtime.

Here’s tipoff time along with BetMGM odds and how to watch the title game on Monday night.

BetMGM: NCAA championship odds for tonight

Who do you have cutting down the nets tonight?

After Baylor cruised to victory over Houston and Gonzaga won an all-time thriller against UCLA, the men’s basketball national championship will be decided tonight in Indianapolis.

The two combined to go an absurd 58-2 before tonight’s game as Gonzaga is trying to become the first team to finish a season undefeated since Bob Knight led the Indiana Hoosiers to that accomplishment in 1975-76.

Who has the upper edge and do we have another classic awaiting us tonight after the epic battle Saturday?

Here are the latest national championship game odds courtesy of BetMGM, The King of Sportsbooks:

The line:  Gonzaga -4.5
Total:  159.5
Moneylines:  Gonzaga -200, Baylor +165

Suns at Rockets: Betting odds, point spread for Monday night

Phoenix hasn’t played since Friday and has the West’s No. 2 record, while Houston played last night and ranks second-worst in the NBA.

The Phoenix Suns have the Western Conference’s second-best record and haven’t played since Friday. The Houston Rockets have the second-worst mark in the West and are playing their second game in 24 hours. That’s the backdrop for Monday’s game at Toyota Center, in which Chris Paul and Devin Booker’s rested squad is looking to make it six straight wins.

The Suns (34-14) crushed the Thunder in their most recent outing, 140-103 (box score), while the Rockets (13-36) lost to the Pelicans on Sunday, 122-115 (recap). On paper, the matchup is tilted in Phoenix’s favor.

The Rockets won’t issue an official injury report until later Monday, since they played on Sunday. However, head coach Stephen Silas has already indicated that John Wall (left knee effusion) isn’t likely to return until at least Wednesday. Guards Eric Gordon (groin), David Nwaba (wrist), and Dante Exum (calf) remain sidelined by longer-term injuries.

Danuel House Jr. left Sunday’s game early with a sprained right ankle, which could compromise his playing status moving forward. Head coach Stephen Silas had no immediate update, postgame.

The lines, courtesy of BetMGM

  • Point spread: Rockets +14 (-110), Suns -14 (-110)
  • Moneyline: Rockets +650/Suns -1000
  • Over-under: 221.5 (-110 O, -110 U)
  • Player O/U Scoring Props: Devin Booker 26.5 (-115 O, -110 U), Chris Paul 15.5 (-110 O, -125 U), DeAndre Ayton 14.5 (-120 O, -110 U), Mikal Bridges 12.5 (-110 O, -125 U), Jae Crowder 10.5 (-110 O, -120 U); Houston TBD

Phoenix is expected to start its regular lineup of Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Mikal Bridges, Jae Crowder, and DeAndre Ayton. Meanwhile, with Wall and House likely sidelined, Houston could start Kevin Porter Jr., Sterling Brown, Jae’Sean Tate, Kelly Olynyk, and Christian Wood. (That’s the grouping that Silas finished Sunday’s game versus New Orleans with.)

Advice and prediction

In their last 12 games, the Rockets have only lost two by more than 14 points, which is the current spread. Of those two outliers, one was barely above that mark (a 16-point loss in Boston). In most outings, Houston has remained competitive well into the fourth quarter. It is the second night of a back-to-back, but the Rockets are 2-0 in their most recent games in that spot (March 27 at Minnesota, March 22 versus Toronto).

Phoenix is the far superior team, overall, but it shouldn’t come as a shock if the Rockets play hard and cover the large number.

Prediction: 117-108, Suns

Place your legal, online sports bets in VA, CO, IA, IN, NJ, PA, TN and WV at BetMGM.

Advice and prediction

The Nets have not lost a game this season against this gritty Knicks team. A home loss will hurt more than a loss at Madison Square Garden so Brooklyn will take this game a little more personally. The rivalry itself will have the team more motivated than usual. When you throw in the potential return of James Harden and Kevin Durant, it’s looking real scary for New York. Take the Nets -4.5 and over 216.5.

Prediction: Nets 124, Knicks 106

Advice and prediction

There is little point in trying to predict much about this game without knowing the status of Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson. The line seems to indicate optimism that some of them are playing as the starting lineup the Pelicans trotted out on Friday would not be favored by five points.

The best bet is to wait until more is known about their availability. Riskier bettors can try to grab the line at Pelicans minus-5 if they feel New Orleans is going to be healthy, which seems to be the trend.

Prediction: Pelicans 122, Rockets 110

Nets at Bulls: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks

Our prediction and best bet for Sunday’s Nets-Bulls game.

The Brooklyn Nets play the Chicago Bulls on Sunday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, moneyline odds and over-under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet on BetMGM.

The game tips off at 2:00 p.m. and can be seen on YES 2 and NBC Sports Chicago.

The lines, courtesy of BetMGM

  • Point spread: Nets -2.5
  • Money line: Nets -145 / Bulls +115
  • Over-under: 224.5

Place your legal, online sports bets in VA, CO, IA, IN, NJ, PA, TN and WV at BetMGM.

Advice and prediction

The Brooklyn Nets are slowly getting healthier again, which is weird to say considering they have been dealing with injuries all season long. The addition of Landry Shamet last game after his ankle injury showed how valuable he is to the offense. The new kid on the block in LaMarcus Aldridge only amplified the offensive system Nash and the coaching staff have in place, making things look easy. More importantly, he adds a defensive component that the Nets were lacking all season. Expect another blowout by Brooklyn, take the Nets -2.5, even without James Harden.

Prediction: Nets 108, Bulls 90

Hornets vs. Celtics: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks

With bodies dropping like flies, the Hornets (25-23) head to Boston (24-25) looking to salvage the remainder of their road trip.

Already down LaMelo Ball and Malik Monk, Charlotte lost Gordon Hayward on Friday for potentially the remainder of the season. Now, they will look to hold onto their playoff spot to finish the season.

  • Over-under: 216.5

Advice and prediction

There is no question the Hornets are down and out right now, both physically and mentally. Sunday will be their fourth game on a five-game road trip, and Charlotte has lost a key player in each of the last two contests.

Even for this Hornets team, it’s a steep mountain to climb to replace Hayward’s scoring given the current situation. For now, take Boston minus-9 until Charlotte can attempt to figure out a solution.

Prediction: Celtics 112, Hornets 101

Pelicans at Rockets: Betting odds, point spread for Sunday night

There’s uncertainty in the line, since New Orleans has two recent All-Stars (Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson) who are questionable.

The Houston Rockets will host the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday night at Toyota Center. With only a few hours remaining until tipoff, what’s less clear is whether many of the biggest marquee names will play.

The Pelicans (21-27), who enter coming off two straight losses, have three big names who are listed as questionable to play on the official injury report: Zion Williamson (right thumb sprain), Brandon Ingram (right toe inflammation), and Lonzo Ball (right hip flexor strain). Ingram was an NBA All-Star in 2020, while Williamson earned the honor this year.

Meanwhile, the Rockets (13-35) — who have lost their last three straight — will be without John Wall (left knee effusion) for a third consecutive game. Christian Wood is not listed on Houston’s injury report, which indicates that he will play despite limping off late Friday in Boston.

The Pelicans are 1.5 games behind Golden State for the No. 10 spot in the Western Conference, which is the final berth in the West’s play-in tournament to qualify for the 2021 playoffs. Thus, they should be highly motivated to snap their recent slide against a weaker opponent on paper.

The lines, courtesy of BetMGM

  • Point spread: Rockets +5 (-110), Pelicans -5 (-110)
  • Moneyline: Rockets +165/Pelicans -200
  • Over-under: 222.5 (-110 O, -110 U)
  • Player O/U Scoring Props: TBD, given injury reports

Place your legal, online sports bets in CO, IN, MI, NV, NJ, PA, TN, and WV at BetMGM.

If the “questionable” names play, New Orleans will likely start Lonzo Ball, Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson, and Steven Adams. Meanwhile, with Wall sidelined, Houston will apparently start Kevin Porter Jr., Sterling Brown, Danuel House Jr., Jae’Sean Tate and Christian Wood for a third consecutive game.

In addition to Wall, Houston’s injury report includes Eric Gordon (groin), David Nwaba (wrist) and Dante Exum (calf), who all remain sidelined by longer-term injuries. Besides the questionable names, New Orleans is listing Josh Hart as out (right thumb sprain) and Kira Lewis Jr. (right calf strain) as doubtful for Sunday night at Toyota Center.

Advice and prediction

The point spread is lower than it would normally be between these teams, reflecting the injury uncertainty with the Pelicans. Thus, if you believe that New Orleans will play at least one of their injured star players, there’s potential value in a lower-than-expected line.

Given their high sense of urgency to make the playoffs and this being a game they know they should win, expect Stan Van Gundy to allow Ingram and/or Williamson to play, if at all possible. If that’s the case, the spread being as low as it is could be a gift.

Prediction: 119-110, Pelicans

Rockets at Celtics: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks

Our prediction and best bet for Friday’s Rockets-Celtics game.

Victor Oladipo and the Houston Rockets visit Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics on Friday night, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, moneyline odds and over-under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet on BetMGM.

The game tips off at 7:30 p.m. ET and can be seen on NBC Sports Boston and AT&T SportsNet Southwest.

The lines, courtesy of BetMGM

  • Point spread: Celtics -11.5
  • Money line: Celtics -750 / Rockets +525
  • Over-under: 222.5

Place your legal, online sports bets in VA, CO, IA, IN, NJ, PA, TN and WV at BetMGM.

Advice and prediction

The Celtics will be welcoming a visit from a 13-win team, as Brad Stevens’ team is mired in a run of mediocre play, with seven losses in their last ten games. The Rockets won’t be a pushover, though. With Christian Wood back in the lineup, Houston has been a tougher out for many teams. On Wednesday, the Rockets built an 18-point lead over the East-leading Brooklyn Nets before eventually falling behind.

Boston last played the Rockets on March 14th, and blew out Houston 134-107. I don’t feel great about laying double-digits with this Celtics team, but the Rockets are overmatched and on the road. We should see a similar result, but the Celtics are going to have to play hard throughout the game – something this team has struggled with – to avoid a Rockets backdoor cover. Take the Celtics -11.5.

Prediction: Celtics 121, Rockets 106
