MSU PG Cassius Winston awarded NABC All-District First-Team Honor

Michigan State’s Cassius Winston was named an NABC All-District 7 First-Team honoree, as voted by the Big Ten coaches.

At the conclusion of each NCAA Men’s Basketball season, the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) names its All-District Teams, honoring the top Division I players in each district around the country. District 7 is comprised entirely by the Big Ten Conference. This year, the Big Ten coaches voted Cassius Winston to the First-Team All-District 7 team for his outstanding season.

First Team

Cassius Winston, Michigan State; Lamar Stevens, Penn State; Luka Garza, Iowa; Anthony Cowan Jr., Maryland; Daniel Oturu, Minnesota.

Second Team

Jalen Smith, Maryland; Ayo Dosunmu, Illinois; Joe Wieskamp, Iowa; Kaleb Wesson, Ohio State; Zavier Simpson, Michigan.

Coach of the Year: Greg Gard, Wisconsin.
