2025 4-star OT and Missouri commit is predicted to flip to Texas A&M

Texas A&M could pick up a current 2025 Missouri commit after Saturday’ thrashing of the Tigers

Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class has a chance to flip one of the top offensive tackle prospects, 4-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers, who is currently committed to Missouri.

On Saturday, Texas A&M (5-1, 3-0 SEC) blew out the 9th-ranked Missouri Tigers 41-10 inside a packed Kyle Field. The return of quarterback Conner Weigman led to one of the best offensive showings of the year. Rogers, who attended the matchup to watch both teams, was more impressed with the Aggies, especially the play in the trenches.

Just hours after the game, On3 Recruiting Analyst Steve Wiltfong logged his expert prediction for Texas A&M to flip Rogers after Saturday’s win. At the same time, several other 2025 and 2026 prospects are also names to keep an eye on as A&M enters its Bye Week ranked atop the SEC standings at 3-0.

Rogers is one of the more athletic blockers with substantial size, standing at nearly 6-6.5 and 311 pounds. He is already thriving as a run-blocker. At the same time, his pass protection skill set is a work in progress, though his use of leverage is above average.

According to 247Sports Composite, Rogers is currently positioned as the 49th-ranked prospect in the 2025 class, the 6th-ranked offensive tackle, and the 12th-ranked prospect in Texas.

Four-star WR Isaiah Brevard announces commitment

Four-star WR Isaiah Brevard announced his commitment to the Oregon Ducks over Georgia, FSU, and more.

Four-star wide receiver Isaiah Brevard put the Georgia Bulldogs in his top seven, but it wasn’t enough for the Dawgs to secure a commitment from him. Brevard plays football at Southaven High School in Mississippi. He’s one of the top players in Mississippi that’s in the class of 2021.

Now, he’s committed to the Oregon Ducks. Isaiah Brevard announced his commitment via Twitter on July 4th:

Brevard’s top schools included: Texas A&M, Georgia, Missouri, Oregon, Florida State, Penn State, and Baylor. He’s going a long way from home to play in Eugene, Oregon.

Kirby Smart and Georgia have several commitments in the class of 2021. UGA is doing an excellent job securing top talent in the Peach State for the class. Georgia has landed a commitment from four-star defensive end Elijah Jeudy.

The Dawgs are still looking for their first wide receiver commitment in the class of 2021. Georgia is among the top two schools for four-star wide receiver Malik Nabers.

He announced his top seven via Twitter:

Brevard’s latest list of top schools includes: Texas A&M, Georgia, Missouri,  Oregon, Florida State, Penn State, and Baylor. He’s projected to end up with either the Oregon Ducks or the Ole Miss Rebels (unlikely since they aren’t in his top seven).

Ole Miss, Nebraska, Louisville, Memphis, and Kentucky have all been removed from his top ten. Brevard appears to be favoring traditional powerhouses, which certainly helps out Kirby Smart and Georgia’s chances at securing his talents.
