Plenty of future Irish stars in Texas this week

The Irish are very well represented at this years [autotag]All-American Bowl[/autotag]. In total there are nine [autotag]Notre Dame[/autotag] signees that were invited to the game but for three of them (offensive lineman [autotag]Charles Jagusah[/autotag], quarterback [autotag]Kenny Minchey[/autotag] and defensive end [autotag]Boubacar Traore[/autotag]) are out with injuries.

The majority of the healthy future Irish players are in San Antonio already but wide receiver [autotag]Rico Flores[/autotag] won’t arrive until tomorrow. There are still more than a few highlights that were shared on twitter of the soon-to-be Irish freshman. Check out the clips below of Notre Dame’s next stars.

Notre Dame Football 2023 early signing day tracker

This class didn’t waste any time getting their signatures to South Bend

It is finally upon us, the hard work the Irish football staff has put in can finally but a “bow” on the 2023 recruiting cycle. Yes, there is still another point where recruits can sign, but Marcus Freeman and his staff have already maxed out the class with verbals and if everyone signs, they will be one over the normal allotment of 25 players.

A few of the verbals didn’t waste any time faxing their information over to South Bend but they should keep coming in as the day proceeds. Find out below which Irish commitments have made their Notre Dame pledges complete. (This list will be updated as the day goes on so make sure to return.)

Georgia football offers 4-star Notre Dame commit Micah Bell

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to Dillon Bell’s brother, Micah. Micah Bell is a four-star class of 2023 recruit.

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to class of 2023 recruit Micah Bell. Bell, a four-star defensive back, committed to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in July 2022.

Kirby Smart and Georgia football are late in the process in offering Bell, but might Georgia have a chance to land a commitment?

Micah’s brother, Dillon Bell, is a freshman wide receiver on the Georgia football team. Micah Bell, like his brother, plays high school football for The Kinkaid School in Houston, Texas.

Bell is the No. 128 recruit in the senior class. Bell is the No. 13 cornerback and the No. 27 recruit in Texas.

Why is Georgia looking to add a commitment from another cornerback? The Bulldogs recently lost a commitment from four-star defensive back Daniel Harris.

Kirby Smart and Georgia have the No. 2 recruiting class in the country. Notre Dame has the No. 3 recruiting class. The Bulldogs have commitments from four defensive backs, but are looking to sign a fifth defensive back from the class of 2023.

The 5-foot-11, 170-pound defensive back announced his scholarship offer from the University of Georgia via Twitter:

Michigan State football is one of 10 programs lucky enough to crack four-star cornerback Micah Bell’s top school’s list released on Sunday

Michigan State football is one of 10 programs lucky enough to crack four-star cornerback Micah Bell’s top school’s list released on Sunday.

The Spartans were joined by a host of big-time programs, including Notre Dame, Baylor, Tennessee, Texas, Vanderbilt, Duke, Stanford, Houston and Harvard.

Bell is ranked as the No. 8 cornerback and No. 55 overall prospect in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2023 class. He holds offers from nearly 30 schools, including Michigan State who offered him in early April.

Bell is currently projected to end up at Notre Dame but it’s a positive sign to see Michigan State in the mix — especially with the Spartans only extending him an offer two months ago. Keep an eye on Bell’s recruitment over the next month as it appears he’ll be committing on July 1, per his Twitter account.

Tennessee offers 2023 prospect from Texas

Tennessee Vols’ football recruiting news.

The University of Tennessee is recruiting 2023 athlete Micah Bell from Houston, Texas.

Bell is a 5-foot-10, 155-pound sophomore at the Kinkaid School. He plays wide receiver and cornerback.

It is unclear what position he is being recruited to play in college.

The Vols are not the only school to recruit Bell early in his high school career. Colorado has also extended an offer to him.

Still early in his recruiting process, Bell does not hold any ratings on the 247Sports composite.

Tennessee does not have any prospects committed to its 2023 recruiting class. The Vols offered Micah Bell on Dec. 21.
