With Miles Sanders out for Week 17 and Philadelphia needing to keep their running back depth flowing, the team has signed running back Kerryon Johnson to the practice squad.

Jordan Howard is dealing with a stinger and could be a game-time decision.

The Eagles made several other roster moves involving the practice squad on Tuesday:

Ravens have two OL in for tryouts on Tuesday

The Ravens tried out two offensive linemen on Tuesday

The Baltimore Ravens have been shuffling around their offensive line in a big way throughout the 2021 season. While they’ve moved around players on their starting group, they’ve also been shuffling their depth around, as they’ve needed to rely on contributions from multiple players.

On Tuesday, Baltimore brought in two centers for tryouts in Luke Juriga and Adam Redmond. The team might be looking at depth at center due to the fact that starting center Bradley Bozeman left the Ravens’ Week 6 win over the Los Angeles Chargers with a back injury.

Redmond went undrafted in the 2016 NFL draft, and has spent time with the Indianapolis Colts, the Buffalo Bills, the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Bears. He has appeared in 18 games over the course of his career.

Juriga went undrafted in 2020, but signed with the Philadelphia Eagles and spent the last year with them before being waived/injured in August of 2021. He appeared in 13 games last season.

2021 Eagles’ roster cuts: Luke Juriga among three waived Tuesday

With Nate Herbig rapidly improving, center Luke Juriga was among three players waived on Tuesday ahead of the deadline.

The first of three roster cuts that NFL teams are required to make, Juriga joined Kerryon Johnson on waivers as Philadelphia worked to get down to 85.

Tuesday, August 17: Down to 85.
Tuesday, August 24: Down to 80.
Tuesday, August 31: Down to 53.

Juriga getting cut means Kayode Awosika still has an outside shot at making the roster.

Eagles center Jason Kelce contemplating retirement?

Eagles center Jason Kelce talked with Chris Long on the Green Light podcast, where he discussed possible retirement.

The Eagles are going through some big-time changes as a franchise and as the team prepares to part ways with Carson Wentz weeks after moving on from Doug Pederson, one All-Pro is considering his next move.

Jason Kelce appeared on former teammate Chris Long’s Green Light podcast on Friday and while answering a series of questions, Kelce was asked, “what are you currently worried about?”

Kelce’s response, “retirement.”

Kelce, who is 33, has previously made it known that he was playing on a year to year basis and the 10-year veteran is coming off his fourth-straight Pro Bowl appearance and has played in 105 consecutive games since 2014, the longest current streak among all NFL interior linemen.
