WATCH: Alabama 5-star OL commit, Kadyn Proctor, throws football 60-yards in air with ease

Kadyn Proctor goes viral at All-American Bowl with this wild pass!

The Alabama Crimson Tide have been absolutely cleaning up the 2023 recruiting cycle as they currently have the top class in the nation. The 2023 class features 28 commits, seven of which are five stars, including offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor.

Proctor was initially committed to the Iowa Hawkeyes but flipped to join this historic Alabama class right before signing the day. There were a lot of rumors swirling about Proctor to Oregon or Colorado before Nick Saban ultimately won his services.

Out of Des Moines, IA, Proctor is the No. 12 player regardless of position and the No. 1 or 2 OT depending on your recruiting service. At 6-foot-7 and 330 pounds, Proctor will compete for a starting job as soon as he steps on campus.

This week, Proctor is at the All-American Bowl working on drills where he ultimately went viral for his quarterback skills. The massive tackle is seen launching the football 60 yards in the air with little effort. If needed, Proctor could definitely be out on the field throwing the deep ball.

2023 5-star OT Kadyn Proctor officially signs with Alabama

2023 five-star offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor flipped his commitment from Iowa to Alabama on Tuesday evening. He made things official on Wednesday morning as he signed with the Crimson Tide.

Five-star offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor of the 2023 class made things official as he signed with Alabama on Wednesday morning. This comes one day after Proctor flipped his commitment from Iowa to Alabama.

Proctor took an unofficial visit to Tuscaloosa last weekend. He was seen enjoying his visit with current Alabama players Tyler Booker and Ty Simpson. The visit turned out to be enough for the Iowa native to rethink his decision and ultimately sign with the Tide.

Proctor is ranked as the No. 5 recruit in the country, according to 247Sports’ recruiting rankings. He is listed as 6-foot-7, 330 pounds. With the Tide losing starting left tackle Tyler Steen, he could see some early playing time in Tuscaloosa. He mentioned that as part of his reason for ultimately choosing to commit to the Tide.

Needless to say, his impact will be huge for an offensive line unit that has struggled in recent years. However, it seems like this could be the offensive line class to put the Tide over the hump. Proctor will also be joined by Miles McVay, Wilkin Formby, Olaus Alinen, and RyQueze McElderry. This was a great haul for offensive line coach Eric Wolford.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to cover early signing day and which prospects will be joining the Crimson Tide.

Alabama lands 5-star OT Kadyn Proctor, former Iowa commit

MASSIVE FLIP! Alabama lands a commitment from 5-star OT Kadyn Proctor, who was previously committed to Iowa.

Kadyn Proctor, a five-star offensive tackle prospect, has officially announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide just hours ahead of Early Signing Day.

Proctor, a native of Des Moines, Iowa, received an official offer from Alabama in April of 2021. He committed to the Iowa Hawkeyes in late June of 2022.

His decommitment from Iowa just a few days ago came as a surprise to many. With that news, analysts began discussing the possibility of Proctor joining Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide.

He was in Tuscaloosa four days before removing his commitment to Iowa. Today, he shared a picture on Twitter stating his commitment.

Proctor is a 6-foot-7, 330-pound offensive tackle that ranks in the top-five players in the entire country and is rated as the highest offensive tackle.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to cover Alabama football and the recruiting trail for the 2023 season.

5-star OT Kadyn Proctor announces college commitment

5-star OT Kadyn Proctor announced on Tuesday that he is flipping from the Iowa Hawkeyes, joining Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide.

The Oregon Ducks gave a valiant effort in the recruitment of five-star offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor. In the end, Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide earned the last laugh.

Proctor, the No. 1 OT in the 2023 class, announced on Tuesday he was flipping his commitment from the Iowa Hawkeyes to Alabama.

It had been believed for the past couple of weeks that Proctor would flip, but the destination was originally believed to be Oregon. Proctor had developed a nice relationship with both Adrian Klemm and Dan Lanning. However, Proctor took a visit to Alabama over the past weekend, when the Crimson Tide were able to lock up his commitment.

There remain a number of OT options for the Ducks this offseason, including a number of transfer portal players that could announce their commitment on Wednesday.

Alabama OL commit backs off of verbal commitment, set to sign with PAC-12 program

Alabama’s 2023 recruiting class suffered a loss on Sunday as offensive line commit Raymond Pulido backed off of his commitment. He will now be signing with Arizona on Wednesday’s early National Signing Day.

Recently, reports circulated that  2023 Alabama offensive line commit Raymond Pulido had backed off of his commitment to the Tide. Later on, his father, Robert, confirmed the news via Twitter.

The caption read, “Very proud of our son….many might not see it as the popular decision. Having trust in your position coach matters,” Pulido said. He then went on to add, “Development matters, being close to family and friends matters…keep working, dedication and be the best at what you do son.”

The native of Apple Valley, California was one of five offensive linemen committed to Alabama as a part of the 2023 recruiting class. However, Pulido will now be spending his college days in the PAC-12 for the Wildcats football program.

As for the Tide, they will likely look to add one more offensive lineman to the class. There is a strong chance that it could be five-star offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor. The Iowa commit took an unofficial visit to Tuscaloosa over the weekend and has been trending toward Alabama ever since. I would be surprised if the Iowa native doesn’t flip his commitment to the Tide. He is set to make his official college decision on Wednesday.

Recruiting Watch: Potential Oregon flips and commitments a day out from early signing period

The next 24 hours are going to be active for Duck fans. Here are some names to keep an eye on for potential flips or commitments.

We are a day away from the early signing period getting started in the world of college football, which means in the next 24 hours, a bunch of high school prospects are going to be putting pen to paper and letting it be known where they are going to start their college careers.

While there are still a number of uncommitted prospects who are likely to make their final decisions known, some of the biggest fireworks on Wednesday could end up coming from top recruits who are committed to one school, but announce they are flipping to another.

It’s flip season, and the Oregon Ducks were on the wrong end of Monday morning’s news that five-star quarterback Dante Moore was flipping his commitment to UCLA.

We expect the Ducks to sign a star-studded class on Wednesday based on the guys who are committed and locked into the program, and there’s a chance it could get even better with a couple of late additions Oregon is working hard to get.

A few days ago we laid out a number of potential candidates to flip for Oregon. Let’s take another look at that list with early signing day knocking on the door, and discuss a few of the uncommitted prospects and players in the transfer portal who could be making a decision as well.

5-star OT Kadyn Proctor now predicted to flip commitment, but not to Oregon

New flip predictions are coming in for 5-star Iowa OT Kadyn Proctor.

A week ago, we were talking about the possibility that 5-star Iowa Hawkeyes offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor could be flipping his commitment and picking a new school before the early signing period on Wednesday.

Today, we’re still talking about that. However, the school that he may be flipping to is no longer the same.

Proctor, the No. 1 OT in the 2023 class, was originally thought to be an Oregon Ducks’ lean after multiple visits this fall and a strong relationship with Adrian Klemm. However, the 6-foot-7, 330-pounder is now picking up multiple predictions to flip to the Alabama Crimson Tide rather than the Ducks after his weekend visit to Tuscaloosa.

247Sports’ National Director of Recruiting, Steve Wiltfong, placed a Crystal Ball prediction on Monday morning for Proctor to end up heading to Alabama. While the Ducks have felt good about the prospect of landing Proctor for the past month or so, it appears that his late visit to see Nick Saban may have been an impactful one.

There are still a couple of days until the early signing period, so Oregon has time to potentially talk to Proctor and get him back in line with the Ducks. However, this is still tough news to hear for Oregon fans. Of all the flip targets down the stretch for Oregon, Proctor may have been the one that was among the most likely to actually happen. Now it doesn’t seem that way.

We will see how this one plays out going forward.

Kadyn Proctor’s Recruiting Profile

Alabama now appears to be the favorite to land five-star OT Kadyn Proctor

Nick Saban and Alabama appear to be in good shape for five-star OT Kadyn Proctor.

Early signing day is just around the corner and it’s not signing day season without a little late-night drama.

Late Sunday night three-star offensive lineman Raymond Pulido announced that he was withdrawing his commitment from the Crimson Tide. Then, not long after, predictions began to fly in for [autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag] and Alabama to land one of the nation’s top offensive linemen in five-star Kadyn Proctor.

Rumbles of a potential flip from Iowa to Alabama started late last week when it became known that Proctor would be in Tuscaloosa over the weekend just days before early signing day.

Over the last few hours, several predictions for the flip have begun to roll in. Let’s take a look!

Early Signing Period: 5 names Alabama fans should know

5 names that Alabama fans should be watching when early signing day arrives on Wednesday.

Bowl season is underway but maybe the biggest headline across the sport of college football this week is the early signing period has nearly arrived. On Wednesday some of the nation’s top talent will begin signing their national letters of intent with their school of choice.

Currently, [autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag] and the Crimson Tide have the top-ranked class in the country, according to most recruiting services, and should have a strong Wednesday.

Alabama has 25 commitments heading into the week with several high-level prospects still on the board and within reach for the Crimson Tide.

Here are the top five names that Alabama fans should be watching come Wednesday:

8 potential flip candidates for the Oregon Ducks ahead of early signing period

Who are the guys that Oregon is trying to flip, and what is the likelihood that they pull it off? We break it down here.

We are officially in the final stretch of the early recruiting window, with less than a week until the early signing period starts for college football. This weekend we will see a flurry of both visits and potential commitments, as schools try to get players on campus one last time before the dead period begins and players have to make their decisions.

For the Oregon Ducks, it is expected to be an incredibly active time. Not only are some high-profile players already confirmed to be on campus, but we expect more names to be added to the visitor list in Eugene. We will see both players who are committed to the Ducks and players who are either uncommitted or committed elsewhere on campus.

With signing season comes flip season, and Dan Lanning is looking to make a statement. A number of players could end up flipping to the Ducks in the next week. Of course, there are also a couple of players committed to Oregon that could end up flipping to other schools.

Let’s go over all of the candidates and break down what to watch for in the coming days as the recruiting window winds down.
