Texas reeled in two more big time offensive linemen.

Texas reeled in two more big time offensive linemen on Sunday evening. Jaydon Chatman and Andre Cojoe committed in favor of the Longhorns. The two linemen appeared to be toward the top of Kyle Flood’s priorities.

Cojoe has become a familiar name in Texas recruiting. The 6-foot-6, 330-pound lineman will look to lean on his imposing size to win battles at the next level.

The interior offense lineman from Mansfield Timberview High School took visits to Texas, TCU, and Vanderbilt. He received offers from Texas A&M, Nebraska, Arizona State and Oklahoma State among others.

Chatman is another huge get for the Longhorns. The 6-foot-4, 300-pound lineman chose Texas over a number of suitors. His visit list included Texas, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and LSU.

The four-star lineman from Harker Heights, Texas is a trailblazer for his running backs and fast off the line of scrimmage. He is the No. 9 interior offensive lineman in the country according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Texas’ offensive line recruiting momentum is carrying over to the 2023 cycle.

It appears the late recruiting momentum Texas used to build its excellent 2022 offensive line class is carrying over to the 2023 cycle.

247Sports’ Mike Roach put in a crystal ball projection for Texas to land talented four-star offensive guard Jaydon Chatmon. Chatman is rated inside the top 300 in the nation and the No. 42 overall player in the state of Texas in 247Sports’ composite rankings.

The Harker Heights product received all-district honors as a junior in 2021. Chatman is now picking up lots of attention from schools across the county, adding recent offers from the likes of Alabama, Tennessee, Baylor and LSU.

Texas is looking to put together back-to-back elite recruiting classes on the offensive line after signing seven big-time prospects in 2022. Kyle Flood is changing the outlook of Texas’ offensive line for years to come.
