Gronk is wearing a Patriots shirt again, but for a good cause

Bucs TE Rob Gronkowski posted a picture of himself wearing a Patriots shirt on Instagram, but there’s a good reason why he did it.

Rob Gronkowski came out of retirement to reunite with his old quarterback Tom Brady after the Buccaneers pulled off a trade with the New England Patriots for the tight end.

Gronk is arguably the best to ever play the position, and while he may be coming to Tampa to play, he still has a lot of love for the New England region, where he spent the first nine years of his career.

The tight end and his girlfriend Camille Kostek went around yesterday delivering masks to fire departments in and around Boston, including the Foxborough Fire Department.

Take a look at some screenshots from Gronk’s Instagram story, where he even puts on a Patriots shirt and hops in a Patriots fire truck. All for a good cause.

Don’t worry, Bucs fans, he’s still yours. There’s plenty of Gronk to go around.

Flashback Friday: Gronk shimmies and shakes the Colts in 2014

Take a look back to Week 11 of the 2014 season, when then-Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski rolled through the Colts for a score.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski turned 31 yesterday and received tons of birthday messages from fans, his girlfriend, and, of course, his quarterback Tom Brady.

Gronk is coming out of retirement to join the Bucs, who traded for the future Hall of Fame tight end days before the NFL draft. Gronkowski will join a group of tight ends that includes O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate. Couple that with receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, and it could be a historic year for this offense.

Since Gronk has been out of football awhile, you may have forgotten just how dominant this guy is. In honor of his birthday week and Flashback Friday, let’s take a look back to the Patriots’ Week 11 win over the Indianapolis Colts in 2014, when Gronk shimmied his way to the end zone on a 26-yard score.

That score also led to this fantastic dance.
