Knight plays for George County High School in Lucedale, Mississippi. Knight is ranked as the No. 133 player in the class of 2025. He is the No. 7 quarterback in the 2025 cycle and the sixth-ranked player in Mississippi, per 247Sports.

The 6-foot-4, 185-pound quarterback will continue to add to his frame. Knight is a great student. The George County standout has taken a recent visit to Ole Miss.

Kirby Smart and Georgia are off to an excellent start with the class of 2025. The Dawgs already have commitments from multiple five-star recruits in the 2025 cycle.

Will Georgia need to sign a quarterback in the class of 2025? If the Bulldogs can keep Dylan Raiola’s commitment, the Dawgs may be set at the position for the 2025 cycle. However, the transfer portal could play a role in determining if Georgia needs to sign a 2025 quarterback.

Knight is an excellent track and field athlete. He won a state championship in the long jump and came in second in the high jump.

5-star Mike Matthews plans to visit UGA football this June

Five-star wide receiver recruit Mike Matthews is set to go on four official visits this June. Matthews is one of the top recruits in the class of 2024. Matthews plans to visit Clemson on June 2, Georgia on June 9, USC on June 16, and Tennessee on June 23.

The five-star prospect plays high school football for Parkview High School in Lilburn, Georgia. Mike Matthews is the ninth-ranked player in the junior class and the third-ranked wide receiver. Matthews is the second-ranked recruit in Georgia, per 247Sports. He plays both defensive back and wide receiver for Parkview.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound receiver also plays basketball. Matthews is a versatile athlete with excellent explosiveness.

Matthews visited Athens for the Georgia versus Kent State game in the fall of 2022. Matthews is a key in-state target for Georgia football. Perhaps the Bulldogs will have a stronger recruiting pitch now that quarterback Dylan Raiola has committed to the Bulldogs. Matthews plans to play in the 2024 Under Armour All-America Game.

Impressively, the five-star holds a dual scholarship offer from the Auburn Tigers for both football and basketball. It is rare for recruits to earn dual scholarship offers.

As a wide receiver, Matthews shows great speed and acceleration. He is a good route runner and gets a lot of separation. His speed helps him accumulate yards after the catch.

Four-star pass rusher Jordan Ross puts Georgia football in his top schools

Pass rusher Jordan Ross is close to being ranked a five-star recruit. Ross is ranked as the No. 38 recruit in the nation, per the 247Sports composite.

Ross plays for Vestavia Hills High School (Alabama). Vestavia Hills is located south of Birmingham.

Ross is a four-star recruit. He’s the fifth-ranked edge rusher in the country and the fourth-ranked recruit in Alabama.

Ross’ top schools are Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Oregon, USC, LSU and Texas. Georgia and Tennessee were two of the programs to show early interest in Jordan Ross.

The 6-foot-5, 215-pound pass rusher also plays basketball. Ross has good closing speed, quick acceleration and frequently pressures opposing quarterbacks. The four-star pass rusher should continue to improve his strength. Ross is good at quickly diagnosing plays.

Ross plans to visit Georgia, Tennessee, Texas and Florida in June. The talented edge rusher has shot up recruiting rankings over the past year.

Georgia holds 15 commitments in the class of 2024. None of Georgia’s commitments are edge rushers, so the Dawgs are still looking for recruits at that position.

The Georgia Bulldogs have added a commitment from 2024 offensive line recruit Marcus Harrison

Three-star offensive tackle recruit Marcus Harrison has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs. Harrison is a member of the class of 2024.

The talented offensive tackle plays high school football for St. Francis High School in Hamburg, New York. Harrison, who also competes in track and field, committed to Georgia over the Wisconsin Badgers.

The 6-foot-8, 295-pound offensive tackle holds more than a dozen scholarship offers. The St. Francis standout is ranked as the No. 606 recruit in the country and the No. 48 offensive tackle. Harrison is the third-ranked recruit in New York, per 247Sports.

Per Marcus Harrison’s Twitter account, he has a seven-foot wingspan and a 3.7 GPA. Georgia offensive line coach Stacy Searles was key factor in Georgia landing Marcus Harrison.

Kirby Smart and Georgia have the nation’s top-ranked class of 2024 with 15 commitments. Marcus Harrison received a scholarship offer from Georgia football in April 2023.

Four-star offensive line recruit Jason Zandamela has named his top five schools. Zandemela’s top schools are Georgia, Florida State, Miami, USC, and Oklahoma.

The four-star interior offensive lineman plans to focus on his top five schools moving forward, so it is unlikely that any other schools will enter the picture.

Jason Zandamela is presently favored to commit to the Florida State Seminoles, per 247Sports. The four-star interior offensive lineman plays high school football for Clearwater Academy International in Clearwater, Florida.

Zandamela is the No. 135 recruit in the class of 2024. The Clearwater standout is the No. 7 interior offensive line prospect and the No. 22 player in Florida. Zandamela played a lot of center during the 2022 high school football season.

The four-star has gone on recent visits to Miami, USC, and Oklahoma.

The 6-foot-3, 285-pound offensive lineman has a massive 6-foot-11 wingspan according to his Twitter page. Zandamela plans to play in the 2024 Under Armour All-American Game.

Interestingly, Zandamela is a former rugby player who spent his youth in Mozambique before moving to the United States in 2020. His career will be fun to follow.

Four-star tight end Caleb Odom is narrowing down his list of schools. Odom, a member of the class of 2024, plays high school football for Carrollton High School in Carrollton, Georgia. Georgia edge rusher Chaz Chambliss also attended Carrolton High School.

The four-star ranks Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Ole Miss, Colorado, Penn State, and Miami as his top seven schools.

Caleb Odom is ranked as the No. 85 recruit in the class of 2024. Odom is the sixth-ranked tight end and the No. 14 recruit in Georgia. Georgia has an outstanding record of recruiting tight ends recently.

The Carrollton standout plays basketball and has excellent athleticism. In fact, the four-star prospect has a dual scholarship offer from LSU for both football and basketball. Caleb Odom is a bright student. He recently recited 103 digits of the pi.

The 6-foot-5, 205-pound tight end visited Alabama, Miami, Tennessee, and more great schools this spring. When Odom visited Georgia football on March 18, he received a scholarship offer from the Bulldogs.

Caleb Odom is considered as both a wide receiver and tight end recruit. We’ll see what position he plays in college.

The Georgia Bulldogs are always looking to add talented defensive backs. One of the Dawgs’ latest scholarship offers is to class of 2025 cornerback recruit Devin Williams.

Devin Williams is ranked as a four-star recruit in the current sophomore class. Williams plays high school football for Buford High School in Burford, Georgia. Buford has one of the top high school football programs in the state.

Devin Williams is ranked as as the No. 55 recruit in the class of 2025. Williams is the No. 11 player in Georgia and the fifth-ranked cornerback.

Kirby Smart and Georgia football have the nation’s top class of 2025 in the country. Georgia has commitments from five prospects in the 2025 cycle including four five-star recruits. One of Devin Williams’ high school teammates, five-star linebacker Jadon Perlotte, has already committed to the Bulldogs.

Jaylen Williams, who is ranked as a four-star recruit, plays high school football for Palatine High School in Palatine, Illinois. The 6-foot-6, 280-pound edge defender has recently visited Illinois, Louisville, and Tennessee.

The four-star also participates in track and field. What position will Williams play in college? He would project as a 3-4 defensive end in Georgia’s defensive scheme.
