4-star WR Jeremiah McClellan locks in commitment date

Georgia football is in four-star class of 2024 wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan’s top five.

Four-star wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan plans to announce where he will play college football on Aug. 13. McClellan’s top schools are Missouri, Ohio State, Oregon, LSU, and Georgia.

Jeremiah McClellan plays high school football for Christian Brothers College High School in Saint Louis, Missouri. McClellan is ranked as the No. 108 recruit in the 2024 recruiting cycle and the No. 18 wide receiver, per 247Sports. The standout receiver is the fourth-ranked recruit in Missouri.

Head coach Kirby Smart and Georgia football have the nation’s top-ranked class of 2024 with 26 commitments. However, Georgia is not expected to land Jeremiah McClellan.

The four-star is favored to commit to the Ohio State Buckeyes, per 247Sports. Ohio State and offensive coordinator Brian Hartline have done an outstanding job of recruiting the wide receiver position in recent seasons.

The Buckeyes currently have the No. 2 recruiting class in the nation. Ohio State has 19 commitments in the 2024 recruiting cycle.

The 6-foot, 190-pound receiver won a state championship in football during the 2022 season. McClellan additionally plays outside linebacker for Christian Brothers College.

McClellan has elite speed. The four-star recruit is versatile and returns kickoffs at a high level. McClellan’s explosiveness is a big reason he is able to score touchdowns off so many screen passes. In 2022, McClellan accumulated 60 catches for 1,106 receiving yards and 13 receiving touchdowns.

Kirby Smart and Georgia football have commitments from 26 recruits in the class of 2024 including two linebackers. Georgia has the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation.

Jones, who is a member of the class of 2024, plays linebacker for Fairfax High School in Fairfax, Virginia. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker is the No. 133 recruit in the country and the No. 9 linebacker. Jones is the second-ranked recruit in Virginia.

On film, Jones does a good gob of disengaging from blocks. The elite linebacker is a great blitzer. The Fairfax standout displayed speed, acceleration and quickness during an interception return for a touchdown.

Elite linebacker recruit Demarcus Riddick is considering a pair of SEC schools in addition to Georgia.

The Georgia Bulldogs picked up a commitment from five-star class of 2024 recruit Demarcus Riddick in November 2022. Now, Riddick is reconsidering his decision.

Riddick is expected to make a final announcement of where he will play college football on July 26. The five-star linebacker is considering sticking with Georgia or flipping to either Auburn or Alabama.

July 26 is a special day for Riddick because it is his mom’s birthday. The talented linebacker outlined why he is making a decision despite his commitment to Georgia via On3.

It’s been really tough. … I thought I had this settled down when I committed to Georgia. But I really didn’t because my feelings have changed a little.

Riddick plays high school football and basketball for Chilton County in Clanton, Alabama. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound linebacker is the No. 26 recruit in the senior class. Riddick is the third-ranked linebacker and the No. 3 prospect in Alabama, per 247Sports.

Kirby Smart and Georgia football have the No. 1 recruiting class in the class of 2024. The Bulldogs have 26 commitments in the first class of 2024. However, Georgia has only two commitments from a linebacker. The Dawgs just added a commitment from elite linebacker Justin Williams.

Georgia signed three of the top linebackers in the class of 2023, so the Bulldogs aren’t desperate to add a top linebacker in the 2024 cycle.

Riddick is a very versatile player. He returns punts in addition to playing linebacker. Riddick has good speed and would fit in well with the Georgia linebacker room.

4-star Carrollton TE Caleb Odom makes commitment

Four-star Carrollton standout Caleb Odom has decided where he plans to play college football

Four-star tight end Caleb Odom has committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Odom, a member of the class of 2024, plays high school football for Carrollton High School in Carrollton, Georgia. The four-star picked Alabama over Florida, Ole Miss, Miami, Georgia and Texas A&M.

Odom is ranked No. 64 in the class of 2024. Odom is the fourth-ranked tight end and the 11th-best recruit in Georgia, per 247Sports.

Nick Saban and Alabama football recruiting are rounding into form in the 2024 recruiting cycle. The Crimson Tide have 14 commitments in the class of 2024. Alabama has the No. 5 recruiting class in the country and the third-best class in the SEC. Only Georgia (No. 1) and Florida (No. 3) have higher-rated SEC football recruiting classes than Alabama.

The Carrollton standout plays basketball and has excellent athleticism. In fact, the four-star prospect has a dual scholarship offer from LSU for both football and basketball. Odom is a bright student: He recently recited 103 digits of the pi.

Odom is considered as both a wide receiver and tight end recruit. We’ll see what position he plays for Alabama in college.

5-star Georgia football commit shuts down recruitment

ESPN’s top-ranked recruit, Ellis Robinson IV, has shut down his recruitment.

Five-star defensive back Ellis Robinson IV isn’t going on anymore official visits. Robinson, who committed to the Georgia Bulldogs in February is planning to sign with the Bulldogs.

Other top college football programs, including Miami and Alabama, were making a strong push to flip the 6-foot-1, 175-pound defensive back. Robinson visited Georgia, Miami and Alabama in June.

247Sports ranks Robinson as the No. 4 recruit in the nation and the No. 1 cornerback. He is the No. 2 player in Florida. However, ESPN’s recruiting rankings consider the elite defensive back to be the top recruit in the country.

Robinson plays high school football for one of the best programs in the country, IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Former five-star cornerback Daylen Everette, who is projected to start for Georgia in 2023, also played for IMG Academy.

Robinson holds a slew of scholarship offers. The five-star played for New Rochelle Iona Prep in New York before joining IMG Academy.

Kirby Smart and Georgia have the No. 1 recruiting class in the SEC and in the country. In today’s pass-heavy college football world, teams need excellent talent and skill at the cornerback position.

4-star OT Fletcher Westphal sets commitment date

The 6-foot-8, 335-pound offensive tackle Fletcher Westphal has Georgia football in his top five

Four-star offensive tackle Fletcher Westphal is ready to decide where he will play college football. Westphal plans to make his commitment on July 10.

The talented offensive tackle is expected to pick a college football program from his top five schools. Westphal is one of the top players in the class of 2024. Westphal’s top five schools are Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, and Arkansas.

Fletcher Westphal went on June official visits to all of his top schools except for the Auburn Tigers.

The massive offensive tackle is ranked as the No. 290 player in the rising senior class, per 247Sports. Westphal is the No. 25 offensive tackle in the nation and the fifth-ranked player in Virginia.

Georgia football head coach Kirby Smart and offensive line coach Stacy Searels offered a scholarship to Fletcher Westphal back in April 2022.

The 6-foot-8, 335-pound offensive tackle plays football for Tuscarora High School in Leesburg, Virginia, which is located northwest of Washington D.C. Westphal is a great student. Per his Twitter account, Westphal has a 3.66 GPA.

The four-star offensive tackle overwhelms many high school defenders with his size and mobility. A ton of college football programs have shown interest in the Tuscarora lineman.

ESPN names different Georgia football commit as No. 1 2024 recruit

One five-star Georgia commit has surpassed quarterback Dylan Raiola, another UGA commit, to become ESPN’s top ranked recruit.

Five-star defensive back Ellis Robinson IV committed to the Georgia Bulldogs back in Feb. 2023. Now, Robinson IV is considered the top recruit in the country, per ESPN’s recruiting rankings.

The class of 2024 cornerback is ranked as a five-star recruit and is the rising senior class’s top-ranked player at his position. Robinson IV surpassed fellow Georgia commit quarterback Dylan Raiola to become ESPN’s top ranked recruit.

Who is Ellis Robinson IV? The elite cornerback prospect plays high school football for one of the best high school programs in the country, IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Georgia has several players on its roster that are from IMG Academy, including former five-star cornerback Daylen Everette.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound defensive back is being heavily recruited by other top college football programs. Robinson IV visited Georgia, Miami, and Alabama in June. Nick Saban and Alabama are making a strong push to flip Robinson IV.

Five-star pass rusher Dylan Stewart has named his top five schools. Stewart has gone on numerous visits this year and has now narrowing down his top contenders to Georgia, Ohio State, Miami, South Carolina, and Maryland.

Dylan Stewart plays high school football for Friendship Collegiate Academy in Washington, D.C. Stewart is the top-ranked class of 2024 prospect in the D.C. region. Stewart is ranked as the second-best edge rusher and the No. 9 recruit in the nation.

The Georgia Bulldogs football program extended a scholarship offer to Stewart in May 2022. Georgia is always looking to sign elite edge rusher talent.

The Bulldogs currently have the No. 1 recruiting class in the country, but Kirby Smart and company are currently looking for a premier pass rusher. In fact, edge rusher may be Georgia’s largest remaining position of need in the 2024 recruiting cycle.

The 6-foot-5, 235-pound edge rusher has taken official visits to Georgia, Miami, Ohio State, and South Carolina. Stewart has committed to playing in the 2024 Under Armour All-America Game in Orlando, Florida.

On film, Dylan Stewart lines up in several different positions across the field, but typically rushes the passer. He is also an excellent run defender and often times meets the opposing running back in the backfield before the running back can build much momentum. Stewart is an effective interior blitzer. The Friendship Academy standout displays impressive bend when rushing the passer.

Five-star offensive tackle recruit Brandon Baker has named his top 10 schools. Baker’s top schools are Georgia, Washington, Michigan, Tennessee, Florida State, Miami, Texas, Oregon, Nebraska, and Ohio State.

Baker is the top ranked offensive tackle recruit in the class of 2024, per 247Sports. Baker plays high school football for Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California. Mater Dei is one of the top high school football programs in the nation.

The elite offensive tackle is ranked as the No. 26 player in the class of 2024 and the second-ranked recruit in California. Brandon Baker went on spring visits with Georgia, Florida State, Tennessee, Michigan, Texas, and Nebraska. The 6-foot-5, 285-pound offensive tackle has over 30 scholarship offers.

Kirby Smart and Georgia are off to the nation’s best start with the 2024 recruiting cycle. The Bulldogs have 19 commitments in the country’s top ranked recruiting class. Georgia holds a commitment from in-state offensive tackle recruit Malachi Toliver.

4-star UGA football RB commit visiting Athens

Four-star Imhotep Institute running back Jabree Wallace-Coleman is a 2025 UGA football commit

Four-star running back recruit Jabree Wallace-Coleman announced his commitment to Georgia about a year ago. Now, Wallace-Coleman is back on campus visiting the Bulldogs.

Wallace-Coleman, who is a member of the class of 2025, plays high school football for Imhotep Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Imhotep Institute is one of the top high schools in Pennsylvania.

Jabree Wallace-Coleman is ranked as the No. 141 recruit in the nation. The talented running back is the No. 12 player at his position and the third-ranked recruit in Pennsylvania.

The Bulldogs are hot on the recruiting trail in both the class of 2024 and the class of 2025. The Dawgs hold multiple five-star commitments in both cycles. Wallace-Coleman was Georgia football’s first commitment in the class of 2025.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound running back shows excellent speed, acceleration and agility on tape. Wallace-Coleman is a rising junior. The elite running back recruit has pretty good power and does a lot of his damage running between the tackles.

In Wallace-Coleman’s sophomore highlights, he displays an excellent combination of vision and balance. The four-star makes some great cuts and has the lower body strength to carry defenders a few extra yards after contact.
