Georgia football recruiting target Qaeshon Sapp sets commitment date

The Georgia Bulldogs and Florida State Seminoles are looking to add a commitment from talented offensive line recruit Qaeshon Sapp

The Georgia Bulldogs are looking to add a commitment from talented offensive line recruit Qaeshon Sapp. Sapp, a four-star prospect, will be making his decision on July 3.

Georgia, Florida, Arkansas, Cincinnati, FSU, South Carolina, UNC and USC rank as Sapp’s top eight schools. The Florida State Seminoles are considered the favorites to land  a commitment from Sapp, who attended the FSU spring game.

Sapp is a versatile in-state prospect that can play offensive tackle and offensive guard. The 6-foot-4, 320-pound recruit plays high school football for Lee County, in Leesburg, Georgia, and is a rising senior.

Sapp is an in-state offensive lineman to keep an eye on in the class of 2022. He is ranked as the No. 31 prospect in Georgia.

Georgia football has recently dominated in-state recruiting for offensive linemen. Can Kirby Smart, Matt Luke and company keep it up throughout 2021?

Georgia has 12 commitments in the class of 2022, but the Dawgs are still seeking their first offensive line commitment. Kirby Smart and Georgia have the nation’s best recruiting class.

The class of 2022 offensive line prospect announced his commitment date via his Twitter account:

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to talented multi-sport athlete Kam Davis. A standout in both football and baseball, Davis has committed to the Florida State Seminoles.

FSU offered Davis a scholarship for both football and baseball. That’s an impressive accomplishment for any student athlete. Davis is a member of the class of 2024, but he’s already receiving immense recruiting interest.

Davis is too young to be ranked as a football recruit, but big-name programs such as FSU, Maryland and Tennessee have already offered him a scholarship. Indiana has additionally offered Davis a baseball scholarship.

It will be interesting to see if Davis joins Deion Sanders and Jameis Winston in playing both football and baseball for Florida State. Georgia’s baseball team may consider offering Davis, an outfielder, as well.

Davis is a well-built running back and athlete for the Dougherty Trojans in Albany, Georgia. Davis plays quarterback, but he is considered a running back recruit due to his powerful running style, low center of gravity, quickness and vision. The baseball star has a good arm and could have potential as a quarterback, too, if he continues to develop.

Georgia Bulldogs running back coach Dell McGee is among those on Georgia’s staff who are recruiting Kam Davis to join the Dawgs. Davis announced his scholarship offer from the University of Georgia via his Twitter account:
