Good luck finding a bigger Christian McCaffrey fan than Formula 1 race car driver Yuki Tsunoda.

The Visa Cash App Red Bull F1 driver in an interview on the NFL’s Instagram answered virtually every question with “Christian McCaffrey,” including a 50-0 final score prediction in favor of McCaffrey and the 49ers. He also said the 49ers’ RB is the player he’d most trust to drive his car.

It’s unlikely his score prediction will come true, but a big day for McCaffrey would give his 49ers win prediction a real chance to come true.

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner under investigation for misconduct

Horner is currently being investigated by Red Bull through an external body for what is described as “inappropriate behavior” toward a female employee.

Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner is under investigation for “inappropriate behavior”, according to multiple sources.

Horner is being investigated by Red Bull — the energy drink maker that serves as a parent company for the racing team — over allegations of misconduct toward a female employee. While the nature of the allegations remain unknown at the time of writing, the Associated Press reported Monday that the allegations relate to his “aggressive management style.”

Horner himself said simply to Dutch publication De Telegraaf that he “completely” denies the claims from the allegations. Red Bull put out a statement in reference to the investigation, which reads thus:

“After being made aware of certain recent allegations, the company launched an independent investigation. This process, which is already underway, is being carried out by an external specialist barrister. The company takes these matters extremely seriously and the investigation will be completed as soon as practically possible. It would not be appropriate to comment further at this time.”

As it stands, Horner remains the team principal for Red Bull Racing while the investigation goes on. Despite that, though, British newspaper The Times wrote Monday that Horner’s job status is “under serious threat” with the allegations.

The Formula 1 season is set to get underway on Feb. 21 with testing — Red Bull Racing is set to launch their car before then on Feb. 15.

Lewis Hamilton may reportedly join Ferrari in 2025, and F1 fans are stunned

What an absolute shock for F1 fans if these reports are true.

WHOA.

If you thought Lewis Hamilton would spend the rest of his storied F1 career with Mercedes — the team he’s been with since 2013, with whom he’s won six drivers’ world championships — you may be shocked to find out that’s reportedly not the case.

Per multiple reports on Thursday morning, Hamilton will leave the team for Ferrari to team up with Charles Leclerc in 2025, meaning Carlos Sainz will be out. What’s wilder is that Hamilton signed a new deal with Mercedes last summer, but the reports say that perhaps there was an exit clause in there.

Fans were absolutely stunned by the reports:

1,000 drones lighting up the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix is the trippiest thing you’ll see all day

All is not lost. At least ONE thing went right during the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

The Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix may have been a hot mess express, but this new clip might be the best thing you’ll see all day.

Let’s face it: not a whole lot went right for the Las Vegas Grand Prix. There were tire issues that nobody thought of beforehand, bad viewing times and a drain cover that nearly unraveled the whole thing — utter chaos.

But not everything was a total dumpster fire. In a newly released behind-the-scenes video, Preston Ward, the chief pilot for Sky Elements Drone Shows, shows viewers how his company lit up the Vegas night sky during the race.

Ward enlisted the help of 1,000 drones to make some pretty sweet entertainment, including a roulette wheel.

Twitter reacts to Broncos using name of co-owner’s F1 rival as an audible

Lewis Hamilton is a Broncos co-owner, but they used “Max Verstappen” as an audible during ‘Sunday Night Football’ 🤨

The Denver Broncos have three majority owners from the Walton-Penner family and three minority owners, including Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton.

So it was a bit of a surprise when Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson used the name “Max Verstappen” as an audible during a Sunday Night Football showdown against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11.

Verstappen, of course, is one of Hamilton’s F1 rivals.

Here’s a sampling of how Twitter reacted to the audible.

Max Verstappen sang like Elvis after F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix win: ‘VIVA LAS VEGAS!’

Max Verstappen sang like Elvis, which was so Vegas.

Of course Max Verstappen won the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, as he’s done for most of the 2023 Formula 1 season (that’s not me ripping the Red Bull driver! He’s having an all-time dominant season for any athlete!).

And after he crossed the finish line at a race that was star-studded — but also came with some issues — Verstappen got on his radio to hear the congrats from the Red Bull team. It was in that moment captured as always by the broadcast that Verstappen pulled an Elvis Presley and sang Viva Las Vegas.

A Vegas ending to a very Vegas weekend:

11 celebrities who attended the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, from Shaq to Rihanna

Some big names were there to watch the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Although the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix didn’t go on without some pre-race drama and issues from angry locals to loose drain covers on the track, the actual contest in Sin City went down on Saturday night without a problem.

Unsurprisingly, Max Verstappen took home yet another victory in a season full of them. And it also shouldn’t be a surprise that there were a bunch of big-name celebrities, from singers to actors to a Hall of Fame hoops star, in Vegas to watch it all go down.

Here’s a roundup of who was there for the race on Saturday night:

Formula 1 star Max Verstappen on Las Vegas GP chaos: ‘If I were a fan, I would tear the whole place down’

Max Verstappen empathizes with angry fans over Las Vegas Grand Prix chaos.

Formula 1’s Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend hasn’t exactly been a smooth addition to the racing schedule. Actually, it probably couldn’t have gotten off to a worse start, even if the circuit is pretty cool.

For people in attendance, as well as the U.S. audience in general, the practice and race starting times in the middle of the night are less than ideal. And the start times, along with general cold weather in the desert in November, could create tire issues. That’s just baseline stuff.

The first practice Thursday night was a disaster and ended after just eight minutes. It was first delayed and then canceled after a loose drain cover caused major damage to Carlos Sainz’s Ferrari.

Investigating the track to figure out the issue seriously delayed the the start of the second practice session Friday morning until 2:30 a.m. local time, and the understandably furious fans who showed up to watch were ultimately removed from the grandstands.

While F1 had previously apologized to the people and city of Las Vegas for the disruptions, especially along the Vegas Strip, the race has caused, organizers still have yet to issue a public apology for all the chaos or offer any refunds.

More via The Athletic:

But you know what F1 did do to demonstrate its regret? As a “thank you for your support,” it graciously issued a $200 voucher to the race’s official store to all single-day pass holders for Thursday.

Yikes.

And it certainly seems like three-time F1 champ Max Verstappen is on the side of the fans. According to Motorsport.com and Autosport, Verstappen’s response to learning about the $200 voucher was very clear:

“If I were a fan, I would tear the whole place down.”

Yeah, fair enough for this disaster.

11 awesome Sphere photos from F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix practice

The Sphere continues to be the coolest.

The F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix got off to a — literal — bumpy start when Carlos Sainz drove over a loose drain cover that damaged his car during practice just minutes in.

But the visuals of cars racing through and around the Las Vegas strip are very cool at least, and we’re here to concentrate on the Sphere, the structure that has wowed everyone ever since it went operational. The Sphere will show all kinds of stuff during practice, qualifying and the race itself, but not certain colors that might confuse the drivers.

Let’s take a look at the Sphere during practice and all the stuff it showed in some dazzling photos:
