7 duds from Chiefs’ preseason Week 3 win vs. Browns

These #Chiefs could have put together better performances against the #Browns on Saturday.

Though the Kansas City Chiefs’ effort against the Cleveland Browns was enough to earn them their second win of the 2023 preseason, a few players fell short of making a mark on the matchup. Saturday’s tilt was the last chance for many Chiefs to justify their spot on Kansas City’s 53-man roster, and despite their best efforts, some had more impactful performances than others.

The team’s cut down to 53 players will begin in earnest early this week, and those who underwhelmed against Cleveland are more likely than others to be shown the door.

6 duds from Chiefs’ preseason win vs. Cardinals

These six #Chiefs could have played a bit better against the Arizona #Cardinals on Saturday night.

Though the Kansas City Chiefs managed to redeem themselves on Saturday with a win over the Arizona Cardinals, not all of the team’s players stood out as top performers. While some Chiefs helped their cause to make Kansas City’s 53-man roster, others weren’t so impressive against Arizona.

While the lackluster performances of these players weren’t enough to doom the Chiefs’ efforts on Saturday to failure, they certainly don’t bode well for their future with the defending Super Bowl champions.

Chiefs duds in preseason Week 1 loss at Saints

These #Chiefs left something to be desired in Kansas City’s loss to the #Saints on Sunday.

The Chiefs’ 26-24 preseason Week 1 loss to the New Orleans Saints wasn’t exactly a pretty game. There were some standouts for Kansas City, sure — even some studs — but there were plenty who didn’t exactly show out, either.

Below are Chiefs players who had a rough game in the first week of the preseason, and may have even hurt their stock a little in the process:

Stars, studs and duds from Packers’ 2022 season

The stars, the studs and the duds from the Green Bay Packers’ 2022 season.

The Green Bay Packers fell well short of expectations in 2022, finishing 8-9 with no playoff appearance after winning 13 games each of the first three seasons under Matt LaFleur.

A big reason for the decline: a few of the team’s most important or valuable players didn’t perform up to expectations.

Stars, studs and duds from Packers’ loss to Lions in Week 9

Highlighting the stars, studs and duds from the Packers’ 15-9 loss to the Lions in Week 9.

Sunday’s 15-9 defeat at the hands of the lowly Detroit Lions represents a new low point for the sinking Green Bay Packers, who have now lost five straight games and are 3-6 after nine games.

A rewatch of the contest showed a team lacking confidence and conviction. And more than anything, this is a Packers team incapable of finishing a drive or executing in a big spot.

Stars, studs and duds from Packers’ 14-12 win over Bucs in Week 3

All the stars, studs and duds from the Packers’ win over the Bucs in Week 3.

The Green Bay Packers looked on the verge of an impressive blowout of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the road through two quarters on Sunday, but a nose dive by the offense following a turnover and a near-collapse late by the defense forced Matt LaFleur’s team into needing to stop a two-point conversion attempt with 14 seconds left to avoid overtime.

De’Vondre Campbell made the play, and the Packers escaped with a 14-12 victory over Tom Brady and the Bucs.

Stars, studs and duds from Packers’ 24-22 win over Browns in Week 16

The stars, studs and duds from the Packers’ win over the Cleveland Browns on Christmas Day.

The Green Bay Packers started slow and nearly let the game get away late, but three touchdown passes from Aaron Rodgers and two interceptions from Rasul Douglas were enough for Matt LaFleur’s team to escape with a 24-22 win over the visiting Cleveland Browns on Saturday at Lambeau Field.

The Packers have won four straight games to get to 12-3 and are now 7-0 at home this season.
