Bills defensive end Shaq Lawson had a big day against the Denver Broncos.
Buffalo’s Week 12 20-3 win came with two sacks from Lawson. That brought him to a singe-season career-high five sacks this season. He’s reached four twice.
Emotions were running high for Lawson and that spilled over into the postgame festivities. While players met for handshakes on the middle of the turf at New Era Field, Lawson approached Denver’s Connor McGovern.
WROC-TV caught the action. Lawson used some expletives in the exchange, but also told McGovern, “you remember me now, that’s all I wanted to say to him.” Buffalo’s starting center Mitch Morse, who was injured in the game, separated the two.

Of Lawson’s two sacks, one of them came on a missed assignment by McGovern, the team’s starting center:

Lawson is clearly an emotional player, but if those emotions are getting him stats, the Bills will take that.
