Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins expected to play vs. Bears

Unless they have a setback at the end of the week, both will be in the lineup after missing three games each.

Things are headed in the right direction for the Arizona Cardinals and their two biggest offensive stars. Quarterback Kyler Murray and receiver DeAndre Hopkins have both been limited for the first two practices of the week. They are hopeful they are able to return to the lineup after missing three games.

However, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, it is more than just being hopeful. Rapoport says both are expected to be back, barring any setbacks with their injuries.

Murray suffered a high ankle sprain against the Green Bay Packers and Hopkins has had a hamstring injury. It was hurting in Week 8 but played 15 snaps and has not played since.

They are the first games missed in Kyler Murray’s career and the most games Hopkins has missed in a season.

Their return for the stretch run will be a boost for the No. 1 team in the NFC.

Their next game is on the road in Week 13 against the Chicago Bears.
