With the byes and another London game, Week 6 brings another thinner slate. The smaller pool of players makes it easier to identify top sleepers, but with this comes higher ownership. This means you want to be even more risky in your build strategy. Fortunately, three games project as high scoring. That said, three games also project low scoring. Watch the Vegas lines, because 50% of the time, they are right every time.

Quarterback
Weekly strategy – Lamar Jackson and Jayden Daniels face off and each makes a brilliant play. If you want a pivot, use Dak Prescott. I also like Kirk Cousins, but he may have expanded ownership after last week’s explosion. If you punt the position, consider Daniel Jones on FD and Justin Fields on DK.
Fantasy four-pack
Lamar Jackson, Ravens vs. WAS ($7,800 DK, $9,500 FD) Washington has improved over the last two weeks. They still rank dead last in passing TDs allowed. Meanwhile, Jackson averages 73 rushing yards per game and has nine total TDs over his last three games.
Jayden Daniels, Commanders @ BAL ($7,300 DK, $8,700 FD) This game will be a shootout. Baltimore has allowed more passing yards than any other team. They have also given up the sixth-most passing TDs. That said, this game will be all about the Konami QBs facing off. Both should hit the 23-point mark.
Dak Prescott, Cowboys vs. DET ($6,700 DK, $8,000 FD) Prescott just led a comeback against a fierce Pittsburgh defense. That performance catapulted Dak into second place in passing yards. In a shootout, expect both QBs to blow past the 300-yard threshold.
Kirk Cousins, Falcons @ CAR ($6,200, $7,400 FD) Cousins passed for more yards in each half of Sunday’s game than he had in any other full contest this season. That came against a 31st-ranked Tampa Bay pass defense. This week, he faces the 27th-ranked pass defense in Carolina. Don’t expect another 500-yard performance, but 350-3 is in play.
Sleepers
Justin Fields, Steelers @ LVR ($5,800 DK, $7,600 FD) DK has delayed upping Fields’ price. Take advantage of that against a team that has allowed seven total TDs in the last three weeks despite facing the unholy trinity of Andy Dalton, Deshaun Watson, and Bo Nix.
Daniel Jones, Giants vs. CIN (N/A, $6,800 FD) Despite the absence of Malik Nabers (concussion), Jones had another QB2-worthy performance in Week 5. Cincy is tied for the most total TDs allowed to opposing QBs. Specifically, rushing QBs have found success against this defense. Jones can do damage with his feet, but a return for Nabers should mean success both ways.

Running back
Weekly strategy – Derrick Henry remains the flag bearer for the position this week. Alvin Kamara faces a defense that struggles with pass-catching backs, but his QB situation makes him a tough go. The pivots to consider are Bijan Robinson, Josh Jacobs, and either of the Detroit Lions. J.K. Dobbins and Rhamondre Stevenson (foot) are great RB2 options. I also like Najee Harris. Tyrone Tracy Jr. and Chase Brown (quad) are only available on FD, but injuries to the lead men in front of them, put them both in play. Alexander Mattison and Javonte Williams have the lead back role and each is in play as a volume punt.
Fantasy four-pack
Derrick Henry, Ravens vs. WAS ($8,000 DK, $9,100 FD) Henry leads the league in total TDs and yards from scrimmage. That number is going up here against a Commanders defense allowing the second-worst 5.1 YPC.
Bijan Robinson, Falcons @ CAR ($6,600 DK, $8,500 FD) Robinson gets to face a Carolina defense allowing an average of 156-2 to opposing RBs. Plus, his sporadic usage in recent weeks should keep his ownership low.
Josh Jacobs, Packers vs. ARI ($6,700 DK, $7,600 FD) Green Bay has given Jacobs 67% of their total RB touches. This is nice as Arizona is allowing a league-worst 185.3 rushing yards per game over their last three contests.
David Montgomery, Lions @ DAL ($6,500 DK, $7,900 FD) The usage split between Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs has been nearly 50/50, but Montgomery has scored in every game. Both are in play against a Dallas defense that has allowed 232 rushing yards per game at home.
Sleepers
Najee Harris, Steelers @ LVR ($5,800 DK, $7,200 FD) With neither Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) nor Jaylen Warren (knee) expected to play, Harris should once again receive a bell-cow’s workload. I would like to finally see a TD from Harris; regardless, I am pleased with his receiving role in the last two weeks.
Javonte Williams, Broncos vs. LAC ($5,500 DK, $5,900 FD) Over the last two weeks, Williams has nearly a 2-to-1 touch advantage over Jaleel McLaughlin. Unfortunately, Williams has not scored this season. If he finally rides his usage into the end zone, he could surpass 3x value.

Wide receiver
Weekly strategy – CeeDee Lamb is the top option on the docket. Consider Ja’Marr Chase as a pivot on FD. There are a ton of injury question marks remaining among the higher-priced choices. Marvin Harrison Jr. and Jayden Reed are the only other two that I feel confident in. Chris Godwin, Zay Flowers, and Terry McLaurin are the top WR2 options. Wan’Dale Robinson also can be used as a WR2 on FD, especially if Malik Nabers (concussion) remains out. The WR3 options would be Tank Dell, Josh Downs, Darnell Mooney, and Jalen Tolbert. You also can punt with Michael Wilson, Darius Slayton, or Rashod Bateman.
Fantasy four-pack
CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys vs. DET ($8,600 DK, $9,300 FD) Despite playing only four games, Detroit has allowed the fifth-most receiving yards to opposing WRs. Plus, two of the teams ahead of them in that category are off of the main slate this week. Lamb saw nine targets in the first game following Brandin Cooks (IR – knee) going on IR. That number will go up here.
Ja’Marr Chase, Bengals @ NYG (N/A DK, $9,500 FD) With Nico Collins (IR – ankle) on IR, Chase trails only Jayden Reed among WRs in total yards. This is amazing as following his hold-in, Chase started the year with two putrid duds. Meanwhile, opposing WR1s have already scored four times versus this defense.
Jayden Reed, Packers vs. ARI ($7,000 DK, $7,700 FD) Reed has only 21 targets and just 29 total opportunities, but he ranks second among WRs and fifth overall in total yards from scrimmage. Meanwhile, over their last three games, Arizona has allowed an average of 20.5 PPR points to opposing WR1s.
Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions @ DAL ($8,100 DK, $9,000 FD) This game has the highest combined line of the week. Unfortunately, Dallas has been solid against opposing WR1s, with only Malik Nabers topping 12 PPR points. Still, St. Brown is averaging 19.8 PPR points per game over his last three games, so the volume should add up here.
Sleepers
Darnell Mooney, Falcons @ CAR ($5,300 DK, $6,500 FD) Carolina has allowed the third-most eight total WR scores this season. A closer look shows that an opposing WR1 scored only three of those TDs (and two of those came this past week from DJ Moore in a revenge game). Quietly, Mooney (knee) ranks 15th with 40 targets, so the opportunities will be there should he suit up.
Jalen Tolbert, Cowboys vs. DET ($5,000 DK, $6,100 FD) I already detailed Detroit’s issues with WRs. What I didn’t mention was that opposing WR2s have averaged 7.3-77 versus their defense over the last three games. Build the triple stack with Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb, and then run it back with either Amon-Ra St. Brown or Jameson Williams.

Tight end
Weekly strategy – The TE position is thin but attractive this week. Of course, this means they will probably all crap out here. Trey McBride and Tucker Kraft are the safest plays. Brock Bowers, Kyle Pitts, and Dalton Schultz are the best pivots. That said, I want more money for RB and WR, so I will probably go on the cheap and use one of Zach Ertz, Cade Otton, or Hunter Henry.
Fantasy four-pack
Trey McBride, Cardinals @ GB ($5,700 DK, $6,500 FD) McBride has yet to score, but he led the Cardinals in targets last week. Green Bay has struggled with TEs over their last three games, allowing 21-160-2.
Brock Bowers, Raiders vs. PIT ($6,000 DK, $6,700 FD) Bowers now ranks first among TEs in receptions, targets, and receiving yards. My only concern here is with Aidan O’Connell taking over at QB, and what Bowers’ usage will be like.
Tucker Kraft, Packers vs. ARI ($4,800 DK, $6,000 FD) Over the last two weeks, Kraft has posted 10-141-3. Meanwhile, over their last three games, Arizona has allowed an average of 6-55 to the position.
Kyle Pitts, Falcons @ CAR ($4,400 DK, $5,900 FD) No, I don’t trust Pitts. Still, he is coming off his best game of the season, and Atlanta will look to replicate the game plan that produced this prodigious output. Carolina is mid against the position, so take a chance here.
Sleepers
Zach Ertz, Commanders @ BAL ($3,700 DK, $5,000 FD) Baltimore has allowed the second-most receptions and third-most yards to the position. This game should be high scoring, and Ertz is option B in the Commanders’ passing game.
Cade Otton, Buccaneers @ NOS ($3,500 DK, $5,200 FD) Otton isn’t a sexy pick, but if you are looking for 5-50 from your discount TE, play him and save money for elsewhere. The yardage is safe as only two teams have allowed more yards to the position.
