What was going on in 1995, the last time the Bills won the AFC East?
This is the best.
Make all the jokes you want about the Bills Mafia and their penchant for doing wild stuff like jumping through tables and grills and having fun with Josh Allen’s mustache.
Because at the end of the day, Buffalo fans are loyal as heck and do good deeds like the one they’ve been doing since Sunday.
When it was revealed that Allen’s grandmother died Saturday night before Allen led the Bills to a win over the Seattle Seahawks, fans started donating $17 each (No. 17 is Allen’s jersey number) to Oishei Children’s Hospital — which the quarterback has worked with over the years — in her honor
The donations have reached over $150,000 and counting:
Over $150,000 and #BillsMafia is keeping it going strong đ This is what it's all about – kids like Scarlett who wanted to share her support for @JoshAllenQB today too đ You're making a true impact so thank you! https://t.co/pS4gCIRfEE pic.twitter.com/jz6tvDKgKI

Allen was thankful and “at a loss for words.”

Incredible work, Bills fans.

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen reflects on area donations.
The bond between western New York and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is stronger than ever before.
On Sunday, the Bills (7-2) topped the Seahawks (6-2) in big part to Allen’s efforts. He led the team to a 44-34 victory en route to 415 passing yards with four touchdowns.
But the effort by the QB became even more appreciated after the game. Allen did all that after he received some sad news one day prior on Saturday. His grandmother, Patricia, passed away unexpected at the age of 80. Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott said he gave Allen the option to not play in the game, but Allen said he wanted to.
Now in wake of hearing all that, Bills Mafia did what they do best and showed their appreciation through donations.
Oishei Children’s Hospital became the source of $17 dollar donations from many in the region since Allen’s personal news was revealed. Bills fans wanted to show the QB he was on their minds by donating in his grandmother’s memory via the number he wears on the football field.
As of Monday at 2 p.m., more than $35,000 had been raised by fans in her honor. It certainly did not go unnoticed by the QB. Allen has taken to his social media account on Twitter to tell Buffalo exactly how he feels. He loves the area:

If you’d like to help that number’s continual growth, click here to be redirected to the donation page.
You legitimately cannot miss where to go from there.
Oishei Children’s Hospital took to their own social media to announce that their donation page added a new “$17” button. It’s also colored in the Bills’ Zubaz design:
Allen has previously worked with OCH. He has announced that 17 percent of the proceeds from the “Josh’s Jaqs” cereal would be donated to OCH.

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen, Sean McDermott, Bills Mafia among NFL’s biggest complainers on a survery.
[jwplayer wclxJvAM-ThvAeFxT]
Josh Allen, Sean McDermott and Bills Mafia have never been more aligned.
MIBets.com put together an interesting survey this week and it involved something that’s… not exactly great to see. Now we’re not talking about any football analytic stats or anything on the field at all.
Instead, it’s all about complaining.
Via survey work, Bills fans, along with their quarterback and coach, were found to be some of the biggest complainers, whiners, what have you, in the NFL.
Before we get to the results, hereâs the methodology MIBets.com used:
From September 22 to October 8, 2020, we surveyed 5,103 people to determine which NFL players, coaches and fanbases complain the most. 57% of respondents were male and 43% were female. The average age of respondents was 36 years old.
So in terms of these survey results, why are the Bills and their members of the club all in such good alignment? Each of them landed at the No. 3 overall spot in their respective areas.
Here’s the top-five results for each section:
For the fan base results, a “top annoying habit” for each team was pegged. Hard to argue Buffalo’s of “complaining on social media.”
Well, at least the Patriots got higher ratings across the board…?

Last month, the story of a loyal Bills fan and his friendly neighborly rivalry with a Jets fan in Rochester, NY, made national headlines.Â
Western New York resident Michael Mansfield painted his home with the Bills red, white and blue colors and logo in rebuttal to his Jets fan neighbor.
PepsiCo. responded via Twitter with an offer to make a commercial and some billboards if their post about them reached 1,000 retweets. Bills Mafia obliged and Pepsi lived up to their end of the deal and you can now see the commercial and billboards the company made.
The two neighbors make appearances in the commercial, as does former Bill Stevie Johnson. The ad has gone live and will also air during Sunday’s game against the Jets.
Check out the commercial here:

And hereâs the billboard going up around the region:Â
The billboard can be seen in the following locations:Â
One could certainly say it has been a pretty good year for Bills fans in terms of billboard recognition.

Buffalo Bills Week 6 Player of the Game vs. the Kansas City Chiefs: Wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
The Bills dropped their second-straight game to the Kansas City Chiefs, and while it may seem dismal, we have Player of the Week awards to hand out.
Wide receiver Stefon Diggs continues to be a consistent bright spot in this offense, and despite low yards, he gets our nod for Player of the Week. Diggs caught six passes for 46 yards and had an excellent touchdown for the Bills. After drawing a defensive pass interference penalty on the goal line, Diggs caught the eventual touchdown pass from quarterback Josh Allen with a tip-toe catch on the edge of the end zone.Â
Diggs is actually a two-time recipient of Bills Wire’s Player of the Game after earning it in Buffalo’s Week 2 win over the Dolphins. The Bills have a chance to rebound in a big way against the winless Jets next week at MetLife Stadium.Â

Buffalo Bills filed trademark for Bills Mafia and fans are not happy.
There’s a new consensus in town… for now.
The Buffalo Bills have made a legal decision that hasn’t been initially well received by fans of the team. Via Twitter, Josh Gerben, founder of Gerben Intellectual Property, indicated that the Bills have filed an application for the trademark: “Bills Mafia” on Monday.
The original name was created by a grassroots movement within the Bills fan base, headline by co-founder Del Reid and 26 Shirts. The clothing brand sells items, like the team intends to do with their attempt to trademark the name, yes, but also donates proceeds to charity and other worthwhile causes.
As of the original report, the team and 26 Shirts has yet to comment on the trademark decision. Perhaps down the line, or within hours even, there could be a statement made or a change to the story that smooths things out. But all things considered as of now, fans of the team are actually not really fans of the team doing this. Social media has since erupted with a disapproval:
Since @DelReid canât legally use âBillsâ, @BuffaloFAMbase & @26shirts canât put the whole phrase âBills Mafiaâ on any shirt or item. Which means the @BuffaloBills can do this.
That being said, doing it without even so much as a hat tip to Del is bad optics to say the very least. https://t.co/pHR7OcyQJq

Apparently, a plane is flying over the venue ahead of kickoff and it’s pulling a banner that reads: “Together or apart, #BillsMafia loves you.”
The Buffalo Bills won’t have their fans at Bills Stadium in Week 3 to root their team on against the Los Angeles Rams. Naturally, that doesn’t mean Bills Mafia hasn’t made their presence known.
Apparently, a plane is flying over the venue ahead of kickoff and it’s pulling a banner that reads: “Together or apart, #BillsMafia loves you.”
Check out a picture of it here:
Certainly, the players will love seeing that banner ahead of kickoff. After playing the Raiders next week, the fourth game of the season, in Las Vegas, the Bills will then return home for a Thursday Night Football meeting with the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5. There has yet to be a decision made on whether or not fans can attend that game in Orchard Park.

Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey says Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is talented now.
Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey is going to miss you on Sunday, Bills Mafia. Seriously, though. He even then doubled-down on some Buffalo-related love by not calling Bills quarterback Josh Allen trash. Instead, Ramsey admitted it. Yeah, he has some skills.
“He’s talented,” Ramsey said to reporters via ESPN. “âHe presents challenges. Every week you have to face a new challenge, and this is our third week so we have to face the challenge of him and that Billsâ offense. He has some weapons around him. He can make plays running the ball and extending plays, etc, etc… Kind of the things everyone knows about him.”
We’ve come a far way from Ramsey calling Allen “trash.” As some might remember, Allen went on to beat Ramsey’s team head-to-head in 2018 when Ramsey was with the Jaguars, and then during that ensuing offseason, Allen signed a particular autograph. In it, Allen wrote, “Am I trash now?” Likely a fan’s request, but Allen still did it, and evidently Ramsey has now answered that.
Ramsey wasn’t alone this week, either. Word on Allen is spreading through the Rams secondary. Safety John Johnson dusted off the ol’ Big Ben comparison.
âHeâs like the re-birth of Ben Roethlisberger,” Johnson said. âHuge arm, huge body. I remember just watching him take off and run and Iâm like, âOK, youâve really got to have a tackling plan for him.â Heâs not going to go down easy, heâs not going to slide, heâs not going to run out of bounds, so you really have to have a plan.
But as mentioned, Ramsey had some additional thoughts as well. Some revolving around… you. Bills fans. Truthfully not a tongue and cheek comment, Ramsey wishes he was getting boo’d on Sunday.
“Theyâre loud & especially they have a good team now, so they would’ve for sure got hyped up and I donât think they like me that much, so they probably wouldâve gave me a little extra, I love it though. They would’ve been turnt up,” Ramsey said. “I wish Bills Mafia would be there, it makes the game more exciting.”
Soon enough when the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic slows, Bills fans will be able to get into Bills Stadium and do what they do best. Unfortunately, that won’t happen in Week 3.

Buffalo Bills fan gets help from Pepsi for a billboard.
A loyal Bills fan went viral for painting their house with the team’s logo, but the reasoning was what really stood out.
This fan was just…claiming their territory, literally.
The decision to paint the side of their home was made in response to his neighbor flying a New York Jets flag. Western New York resident Michael Mansfield has a friendly rivalry with Jets fan Eric Jensen, which began when Jensen first moved into the area.
Reported on by WHAM-TV in Rochester, the story soon went viral, which happened to catch the attention of PepsiCo. When the company saw the neighborsâ story, they wanted to celebrate Mansfield and his unapologetic love for the Bills. The brand did that and more. Pepsi reached out publicly via Twitter with an offer to make a commercial and some billboards if the post reached 1,000 retweets (albeit unbeknown at first to Mansfield).Â
Here’s Pepsi’s message:Â
Hey Michael â We like your style. Letâs take this rivalry city-wide. Want to make your own commercial and some billboards around Rochester to really rub it in your neighborâs face? 1,000 RTs on this tweet and itâs on! #BillsMafia https://t.co/EWAVMGV4kG
— Pepsi (@pepsi) September 17, 2020
From his village block in Bloomfield, NY, into the heart of the city of Rochester, Pepsiâs response caught the eye of Bills faithful who came through in support on his behalf, surpassing that 1,000 number easily.Â
âAs soon as we heard the news about Michael’s unapologetic love for his football team, the Buffalo Bills, we knew we had to get involved,â said Nancy Gold, Marketing Manager, PepsiCo Beverages North America (North Division).Â
Looks like Bills fans will be supporting Pepsi now:Â
