According to BetMGM, Wisconsin football is not as heavy of a favorite as you may think against Michigan this Saturday.

The Badgers open as just 1.5 point favorites, with the moneyline set at -120. That means that a $12 dollar bet on Wisconsin to win, would net you $10 dollars of profit.
Despite the way the 1-2 Michigan Wolverines have looked early in the year, there are arguably more questions for the Badgers as they head to the Big House having not played the past two weeks. According to the Big Ten timeline for a positive COVID-19 test, Wisconsin should have starting QB Graham Mertz back in action just in time for Saturday.
How will Wisconsin respond with limited practice time and game reps? Do you value the fact that Michigan has played every week, or the fact that they have looked nowhere near the team people thought they could be coming into the year?
One piece of advice with seeing this line: If you like Wisconsin, hop on them now. Even with the questions surrounding the Badgers and their personnel, if the game is played on Saturday it would be hard to see the public money not coming in on an overall better football team who is barely favored. If the public is heavily on the Badgers, we could see this line closing on Saturday with UW as a three or four point favorite.
