Bellator 263: Mads Burnell vs. Emmanuel Sanchez odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s Bellator 263 fight between Mads Burnell and Emmanuel Sanchez with MMA odds, picks, tips and predictions.

In a featherweight co-main event bout, Mads Burnell faces Emmanuel Sanchez Saturday in the World Grand Prix Final at Bellator 263 at The Forum in Los Angeles. The card will be televised on Showtime starting at 7 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Bellator 263 Burnell vs. Sanchez odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

Burnell won via rear-naked choke submission at Bellator 257 against Saul Rogers last time out April 16. He has a pair of victories with the promotion, also dropping Darko Banovic with a Round 1 KO/TKO at Bellator 248 Oct. 10. He has ripped off six straight professional victories since being unceremoniously dumped by the UFC after a loss to Arnold Allen May 27, 2018, at UFC Fight Night 130.

Sanchez lost via submission in the first round to Patricio Freire in a Grand Prix semifinal match at Bellator 255. That loss splashed cold water on a three-bout win streak. “El Matator” steps into the octagon with a 70-inch reach, and he will look to use that slight advantage against the Danish fighter, who has a 69-inch reach.

Bellator 263 Burnell vs. Sanchez: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Records: Burnell 15-3-0 | Sanchez 20-5-0

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

BURNELL (-140) will be looking to get this fight to the canvas as soon as possible as he has the advantage in the takedown and submission categories. That’s exactly when Freire made Sanchez pay last time out in the Grand Prix semifinal, submitting the 30-year-old in Round 1.

Just for fun, I have been tossing around a four-fighter parlay which includes Burnell (-140), Freire (-105), Islam Mamedov (-215) and Usman Nurmagomedov (-1400). If you play that FOUR FIGHTER PARLAY (+423), even with a small-unit bet if all four come through it could be a very lucrative night in the octagon.

Bellator 263: Patricio Freire vs. A.J. McKee odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s Bellator 263 fight between Patricio Freire and A.J. McKee with MMA odds, picks, tips and predictions.

In a featherweight championship bout, Patricio Freire faces A.J. McKee Saturday in the grand prix final at Bellator 263 at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. The card will be televised on Showtime starting with the prelims at 7 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Bellator 263 Freire vs. McKee odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

Freire, a.k.a. “Pitbull”, is looking to win his eighth consecutive bout since a setback against Benson Henderson Aug. 26, 2016, a fight he lost due to a TKO injury stoppage. Last time out he dropped Emmanuel Sanchez at Bellator 255 by way of a guillotine, and three of his past four fights ended via stoppage.

For McKee, he is unbeaten in all 17 of his Bellator fights. “The Mercenary” had just five of his career fights go the distance, with six wins via KO/TKO, and six victories by way of submission. That includes a neck crank against Darrion Caldwell Nov. 19, 2020, at Bellator 253. Each of his past three fights ended via stoppage.

Bellator 263 Freire vs. McKee: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Records: Freire 32-4-0 | McKee 17-0-0

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

FREIRE (-105) is looking to hand McKee his first-ever loss in this grand prix finale which figures to be an absolute war. These featherweights are squaring off in what might be the most highly-anticipated fight in promotion history. It is going head-to-head against the UFC, and there might be more interest in this card than that of their MMA competitors.

I really like Pitbull, and I think if you were to tie in Friere, Usman Nurmagomedov (-1400) and Islam Mamedov (-225) in a 3-FIGHTER PARLAY (+200), you can double your initial wager. That’s highly attractive, especially with Nurmagomedov as such a heavy favorite.

Bellator 263: Islam Mamedov vs. Brent Primus odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s Bellator 263 fight between Islam Mamedov and Brent Primus with MMA odds, picks, tips and predictions.

In a lightweight bout, Islam Mamedov faces Brent Primus Saturday on the main card of Bellator 263 at The Forum in Los Angeles. The card will be televised on Showtime starting at 7 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Bellator 263 Mamedov vs. Primus odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

Mamedov enters this bout with a 19-1-1 record in his professional career, but he will be making his Bellator debut. As such, this will be a significant step up in competition. His last outing was a submission victory via kneebar against Martun Mezhlumyan at ADW: UAE Warriors 14 Nov. 27.

The 36-year-old former lightweight champ lost his strap in a rematch with Michael Chandler at Bellator 212 Dec. 14, 2018. He bounced back at Bellator 240 with a neck crank win in Round 1 over Chris Bungard.

After a couple of grappling bouts, which do not count against his official pro record, Primus signed a new six-bout contract with Bellator and will now entertain Mamedov in his company debut.

Bellator 263 Mamedov vs. Primus: Odds and lines

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 10:30 a.m. ET.

  • Fight result (2-way line): Mamedov -225 (bet $225 to win $100) | Primus +180 (bet $100 to win $180)

Place all of your legal, online Bellator bets in CO, IA, IN, MI, NJ, PA, TN, VA, WV and Washington D.C., at BetMGM Sportsbook. New customer offer: Risk-free first bet. Terms and conditions apply. Bet now!

Bellator 263 Mamedov vs. Primus: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Records: Mamedov 19-1-1 | Primus 10-1-0

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

MAMEDOV (-225) is a little more expensive than I care to risk on a straight-up money line play, especially on a guy making his company debut. However, the 31-year-old Russian heads into this one looking to drop the former champ Primus (+180) and make a name for himself.

Additionally, I like a two-fighter parlay of Mamedov and USMAN NURMAGOMEDOV (-1100). If you bet those two heavy favorites together, the PARLAY (-158) will net a return of $63.64 on a bet of $100.

Bellator 263: Usman Nurmagomedov vs. Manny Muro odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s Bellator 263 fight between Usman Nurmagomedov and Manny Muro with MMA odds, picks, tips and predictions.

In a lightweight bout, Usman Nurmagomedov faces Manny Muro Saturday on the main card of Bellator 263 at The Forum in Los Angeles. The card will be televised on Showtime starting at 7 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Bellator 263 Nurmagomedov vs. Muro odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

Nurmagomedov made his company debut at Bellator 255 with a decision victory against Mike Hamel April 2. Overall he has won 12 career professional fights with seven victories via KO/TKO, three finishes by way of submission and only two decisions.

Muro picked up a split-decision win over Nick Newell Oct. 26, 2019 to kick off his second go-around with the company at Bellator 232. He also posted a unanimous-decision win over Devin Powell last time out at Bellator 252 Nov 20.

Bellator 263 Nurmagomedov vs. Muro: Odds and lines

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated 9:50 a.m. ET.

  • Fight result (2-way line): Nurmagomedov -1400 (bet $1,400 to win $100) | Muro +800 (bet $100 to win $800)

Place all of your legal, online Bellator bets in CO, IA, IN, MI, NJ, PA, TN, VA, WV and Washington D.C., at BetMGM Sportsbook. New customer offer: Risk-free first bet. Terms and conditions apply. Bet now!

Bellator 263 Nurmagomedov vs. Muro: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Records: Nurmagomedov 12-0-0 | Muro 12-6-0

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

Muro (+800), a.k.a. “The Dragon”, is looking for the stunning upset. The 34-year-old fighter enters on a three-bout win streak. However, this will easily be Muro’s most difficult opponent to date. Nurmagomedov (-1400) will cost you 14 times your potential return, and you just can’t risk that kind of money for such a small profit.

AVOID, unless you can toss into a parlay of some sort. Personally, I like a parlay of Nurmagomedov and ISLAM MAMEDOV (-200). If you bet those two favorites together, the PARLAY (-158) will net a return of $63.64 on a bet of $100.
