The Chicago Bears released their list of inactives ahead of today’s game against the Tennessee Titans. Chicago has been banged up this week, especially on the offensive line due to injuries and the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Here’s a look at the players that won’t be suiting up for the Bears:

Bears injury report: Cole Kmet questionable, Roy Robertson-Harris out vs. Titans

Chicago has four players that have been ruled out and one questionable against the Titans on Sunday.

The Chicago Bears have been relatively lucky on the injury front through the first half of this season. But it seems like injuries have finally caught up to them.

The Bears released their second injury report of the week ahead of their Week 9 game against the Tennessee Titans, although it’s important to note practice didn’t take place due to the facility being shut down with a COVID-19 scare.

But the Bears did list defensive end Roy-Robertson Harris and tight end Cole Kmet among six players that wouldn’t have practiced.

The Bears released their first injury report of the week ahead of their Week 9 game against the Tennessee Titans, where nine players did not practice. Two of those veteran resting days for defensive tackle Akiem Hicks and linebacker Danny Trevathan. But the rest of the report is pretty grim.

Bears DE Roy Robertson-Harris questionable to return with shoulder injury

It’s been a brutal injury day for the Bears, and they lost a key member of their DL as Roy Robertson-Harris suffers a shoulder injury.

It’s been a brutal week in regards to injuries for the Chicago Bears, who have seen some key starters get banged up. After losing right tackle Bobby Massie to a knee injury in the first quarter (who’s questionable to return), the Bears lost a key member of their defensive line.

Defensive end Roy Robertson-Harris suffered a shoulder injury in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints. The Bears said he’s questionable to return.

Chicago has found some key depth on the defensive line in Brent Urban and Mario Edwards Jr., who have been impressive this season. We’ll see if Robertson-Harris is good to go for the second half or if it’ll be Urban and Edwards the rest of the way.

The Bears lead the Saints 13-10 at halftime.

Bears inactives: Which players won’t play vs. Saints in Week 8?

The Bears released their list of inactives ahead of today’s game against the Saints, and four key starters are all active.

The Chicago Bears released their list of inactives ahead of today’s game against the New Orleans Saints. While Chicago has been banged up this week, several key starters will in fact be playing in this key NFC match-up.

Outside linebacker Khalil Mack (ankle), safety Eddie Jackson (knee), receiver Allen Robinson (concussion) and receiver Cordarrelle Patterson (quad) are all active against the Saints.

Here’s a look at the players that won’t be suiting up for the Bears:

Bears’ Khalil Mack, Eddie Jackson, Cordarrelle Patterson expected to play vs. Saints

The Bears are pretty banged up heading into their Week 8 game, but they got good news as three key starters are expected to play Sunday.

The Chicago Bears are pretty banged up heading into their Week 8 game against the New Orleans Saints. Center Cody Whitehair has already been ruled out with a calf injury, which means Sam Mustipher will get the start for Chicago.

There were other questions heading into this game as some pretty big names were up-in-the-air. Outside linebacker Khalil Mack (ankle), safety Eddie Jackson (knee) and receiver Cordarrelle Patterson (quad) were all questionable for the Saints.

But according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Mack, Jackson and Patterson all appear healthy enough to play against New Orleans, which surely means they will.

There’s more good news for the Bears as receiver Allen Robinson, who has been in concussion protocol all week, was cleared to play on Sunday. That gives quarterback Nick Foles his top wideout against a questionable Saints secondary, which is huge news for the Bears.

Bears WR Allen Robinson clears concussion protocol, expected to play vs. Saints

The Bears won’t be without their top offensive weapon heading into Sunday’s game vs. Saints as Allen Robinson cleared concussion protocol.

The Chicago Bears won’t be without their top offensive weapon heading into an important NFC showdown against the New Orleans Saints.

Receiver Allen Robinson, who didn’t practice all week, has officially cleared concussion protocol and is expected to play Sunday against the Saints. Robinson left last Monday night’s game against the Los Angeles Rams in the fourth quarter after hitting his head on the turf.

The Bears will face a Saints secondary that has been struggling this season, and Robinson could be in for a big day on Sunday. New Orleans’ secondary has allowed opposing quarterbacks to complete 66% of their passes and has also allowed a league-most 17 touchdown passes through these first seven weeks.

Bears injury report: Khalil Mack, Eddie Jackson, Allen Robinson questionable, Cody Whitehair ruled out vs. Saints

The Bears released their final injury report ahead of Sunday’s game against the Saints, which featured designations for some key starters.

The Chicago Bears released their final injury report of the week ahead of Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints, which featured official designations for some key starters.

The Bears have officially ruled out center Cody Whitehair, who suffered a calf injury in Week 7. Undrafted free agent Sam Mustipher will get the nod at center when the Bears welcome the Saints in Week 8.

As for some of the Bears’ other big-name stars, outside linebacker Khalil Mack (ankle), safety Eddie Jackson (knee), receiver Allen Robinson (concussion), receiver Cordarrelle Patterson (quad) and safety Sherrick McManis (hamstring) are all listed as questionable against the Saints.

While the Bears have typically been the beneficiaries of some luck with injuries, they’re the ones that find themselves without and possibly without some of their biggest contributors.

Robinson suffered a concussion in the fourth quarter against the Los Angeles Rams, and he’s been in concussion protocol all week. It’s unknown whether he’ll be good to go on Sunday, but the Bears would turn to youngsters Darnell Mooney and Anthony Miller in his absence.

On defense, the Bears hope to have two of their most important playmakers in Mack and Jackson on the field against a high-powered Saints offense. Jackson was limited for most of the week but limited on Friday, so there’s a good chance he’ll suit up. After not practicing Wednesday and Thursday, Mack returned to practice on Friday in a limited capacity. If Mack is good to go, he’ll be on the field for the Bears on Sunday.

Bears injury report: Khalil Mack, Allen Robinson, Cody Whitehair DNP again Thursday

For the second straight practice, the Bears were without four key starters including Khalil Mack, Allen Robinson and Cody Whitehair.

The Chicago Bears have released their second injury report ahead of Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints, and Thursday’s report reads about the same as Wednesday’s. And that’s not good news for this Bears team.

For the second straight practice, the Bears were without four key starters. Outside linebacker Khalil Mack, receiver Allen Robinson, Center Cody Whitehair and receiver Cordarrelle Patterson all did not practice Thursday.

Mack suffered an ankle injury in Monday night’s loss to the Los Angeles Rams, but he played through it. Now, he appears to be taking it easy on a short week. But his status for Sunday’s game is certainly up in the air, as is true for the others on the injury report.

Robinson remains in the concussion protocol after hitting his head on the turf in the fourth quarter against the Rams, and it’s likely Chicago will be without their best offensive player against a team making a push for the postseason.

Whitehair exited Monday’s game with a calf injury, which head coach Matt Nagy said wasn’t expected to be long-term. But it’s possible the Bears will be down two starting offensive linemen against a Saints pass rush that’s looking to eat, which means it could be a long day for quarterback Nick Foles.

With Patterson not practicing for the second straight day, it’s looking more and more likely that we’ll see running back Lamar Miller promoted to the active roster to back-up David Montgomery.

Rookie tight end Cole Kmet returned to practice on Thursday as he’s dealing with a sore back. Safety Eddie Jackson remained limited in practice after suffering a knee injury that gave everyone quite a scare on Monday night. Safety and special teams ace Sherrick McManis practiced for the second straight day in a limited capacity, which means his status for Sunday is encouraging.
