Watch: Former Redskins TE Vernon Davis displays acting chops on ESPN

Davis recently retired from the NFL, but he may have a long career ahead of him on either a TV screen or the Big Screen.

It’s starting to be pretty obvious that former Washington Redskins tight end Vernon Davis has a career outside of football.

The Redskins tight end announced his retirement ahead of Super Bowl LIV between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers, as his final season with the Redsksin was marred by injuries and an elongated recovery from a concussion. Many assumed that Davis would find a gig as a TV analyst or commentator fresh off of his 14-year career, but it’s not crazy to think that the two-time Pro-Bowler could have a nice career as an actor as well.

Davis already has a well-establish IMDB page, and his biggest role came in 2017 on the Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson flick, Baywatch, where he plays himself.

A handsome and charming guy like Davis will rarely struggle to find work, and a way to make an income, especially if he can continue to develop his acting chops along the way. It will be interesting to see where his career takes him down the road.
