Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns odds and lines, with expert NFL picks and predictions.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The Baltimore Ravens (5-2) meet the Cleveland Browns (1-6) meet for a Week 8 game at Huntington Bank Field Sunday. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET (CBS). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds around the Ravens vs. Browns odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The Ravens have picked up 5 consecutive victories, as the offense has been an unstoppable force lately. Baltimore has picked up 28 or more points in 5 in a row, while going for 41 points in 2 of the past 3 contests. That includes a 41-31 victory on Monday Night Football against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 7, covering a 4-point number as the Over (51) cashed.

Baltimore has QB Lamar Jackson and RB Derrick Henry playing together at an extremely high level right now, and everything else is falling into place.

For the Browns, things are falling apart. QB Deshaun Watson suffered a torn Achilles on a non-contact injury last week, and some cheers came from the fans, which weren’t exactly appreciated by the players. It’s ugly in Cleveland, as expectations haven’t been close to being met.

QB Jameis Winston takes the reins of the offense in his first start. It’s hard to imagine the Browns offense being worse than it has been, as Cleveland has 18 or fewer points in every game this season.

Ravens at Browns picks and predictions

Prediction

Ravens 37, Browns 16

Moneyline

The Ravens (-450) will cost you 4 1/2 times your potential return, and that’s extremely risky in the NFL, especially for a road team.

While the Browns (+350) have been dismal in nearly every aspect of the game, in the NFL, you just never know, even when using a QB3 under center.

PASS.

Against the spread

The RAVENS -8.5 (-110) might have a tough time getting started on the road against a Browns +8.5 (-110) defense which is a proud unit. But, Jackson, Henry and the Baltimore offense will eventually grind Cleveland down to a nub, and the Browns don’t have nearly the same kind of weapons to compete.

Cleveland has scored 18 or fewer points in every game so far this season, and while it’s great RB Nick Chubb was able to return last week, he looked far from 100 percent.

Over/Under

OVER 45.5 (-110) is a risky play with the Browns, as, again, they’ve scored 18 or fewer points in every game to date.

However, the Ravens are driving this Over train, as the Ravens have scored 28 or more points in 5 in a row, while going Over in 6 of 7 games on the season.

First look: Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns odds and lines

Looking at Sunday’s Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns Week 8 NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The Baltimore Ravens (5-2) meet the Cleveland Browns (1-6) for a Week 8 game at Huntington Bank Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET (CBS). Below, we look at Ravens vs. Browns odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds before making our expert NFL picks and predictions later in the week.

The Ravens rolled to a 41-31 road victory on Monday Night Football against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, cashing as 4-point favorites. QB Lamar Jackson threw for 281 yards with 5 TDs and ran for 52 yards on 9 carries, while RB Derrick Henry added 169 rushing yards and 13-yard TD reception.  Baltimore improved to 4-0-1 against the spread (ATS) in the past 5 games, while the Over has cashed in 6 of 7 games this season.

Just when you didn’t think it couldn’t get any worse for the Browns, it did. Cleveland QB Deshaun Watson suffered a torn Achilles tendon Sunday in 21-14 home loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, and a small fraction of the crowd actually cheered. QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson was plugged into the lineup and he suffered a finger injury, giving way to QB Jameis Winston.

Winston threw a TD in the 4th quarter, cutting the Bengals’ lead to 21-14, which turned out to be the final score as Cleveland failed to cover the spread as a 6-point underdog.

Ravens vs. Browns head-to-head

The Ravens lead the all-time series 36-14.

Cleveland picked up a 33-31 win as a 6-point underdog at Baltimore last season on Nov. 12, while the Ravens topped the Browns 28-3 in Cleveland on Oct. 1, covering as 1-point favorites. However, the home team is still 4-2 straight up (SU) in the past 6 meetings. Baltimore holds a 6-3 ATS mark in the previous 9 in the series.

In addition, the Under has cashed in 3 of the past 4 meetings, and the total has gone Under in 6 of the past 9 in the series.

Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns Week 4 odds and lines, with expert NFL picks and predictions.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Baltimore Ravens (2-1) and the Cleveland Browns (2-1) meet Sunday in Week 4 at Cleveland Browns Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET (CBS). Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Ravens vs. Browns odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The Ravens were stunned last time out in Week 3 at home by backup QB Gardner Minshew II and the Indianapolis Colts. It was one of the larger upsets in the NFL so far, as Baltimore was favored by 7.5 points. The Ravens are still 2-1 against the spread (ATS), with the Under outpacing the Over 2-1.

The Browns bounced back from a 26-22 loss at Pittsburgh, and the heartbreak of losing RB Nick Chubb to a season-ending injury, with a 27-3 spanking of the Tennessee Titans as 3.5-point favorites. The Browns have allowed a total of just 6 points in 2 home wins and covers, as the Under has also gone 2-0 in those 2 home outings.

Ravens at Browns picks and predictions

Prediction

Ravens 22, Browns 16

Moneyline

The RAVENS (+110) are the play as road underdogs, as Baltimore should be angry after last week’s setback against Indianapolis.

The Browns (-130) are moderate favorites, but they have had their issues with Baltimore over the years. And the injury report is dotted with key names, although Ford and Watson are fully expected to play.

Against the spread

The RAVENS +1.5 (-110) are worth playing catching the points, only if you feel the Browns -1.5 (-110) are going to win by 1 point.

While Cleveland covered both meetings in 2022, the Ravens are 5-2 ATS in the past 7 meetings, including a 3-1 ATS mark in the past 4 visits to Cleveland.

Over/Under

UNDER 39.5 (-110) is the lean, but be very careful.

The Browns have allowed just 6 total points on a pair of field goals in the first 2 home wins against the Cincinnati Bengals and Tennessee Titans. The good news for Under bettors is that the Browns are mostly healthy on the defensive side.

And with Bateman and Beckham banged up, the Ravens could be rather predictable on offense, using a mostly ground-based attack. More running means the clock keeps moving, which Under bettors love.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Baltimore Ravens (2-1) and the Cleveland Browns (2-1) meet Sunday in Week 4 at Cleveland Browns Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET (CBS). Below, we look at Ravens vs. Browns odds from FanDuel Sportsbook. Also see: SportsbookWire’s NFL picks and predictions.

The Ravens suffered a stunning loss at home in Week 3 against the Indianapolis Colts, falling 22-19 in overtime as 7.5-point favorites as the Under (44.5) connected. To make matters worse, RB Gus Edwards left the game with a concussion. He is the 3rd starting tailback to suffer and injury to start the season, as he joined RB Justice Hill, who was inactive in Week 3 with a foot injury suffered in Week 2, and RB J.K. Dobbins, who is on the IR after tearing his Achilles in Week 1, on the shelf.

The Browns lost star RB Nick Chubb to a season-ending knee injury on Monday night in Week 2 at Pittsburgh, but Cleveland rebounded at home in Week 3 with a 27-3 beating of the Tennessee Titans. The Browns are 2-0 SU/ATS at home, outscoring the opposition by a combined 51-6 in those games as the Under has cashed twice.

Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns odds and lines, with expert NFL picks, predictions and best bets.

The Baltimore Ravens (9-4) meet the Cleveland Browns (5-8) for a Week 15 matchup Saturday. Kickoff at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET (NFL Network). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Ravens vs. Browns odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The Ravens scratched out a 16-14 road win against the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday, following up a 10-9 win against the Denver Broncos at home in Week 13. With QB Lamar Jackson sidelined all last week and for most of the game against Denver, the Ravens have won 2 straight ugly contests.

The Browns were dumped 23-10 in Cincinnati last week, splashing cold water on a modest 2-game win streak. The Under has cashed in 3 in a row for Cleveland.

Baltimore topped Cleveland 23-20 back in Week 7, but the Browns covered a 6.5-point number as the Under (46.5) connected.

Ravens at Browns picks and predictions

Prediction

Ravens 19, Ravens 16

Moneyline

The RAVENS (+130) are the underdogs in this road game, which is a bit of a surprise. Take advantage.

QB Tyler Huntley will be making his 2nd straight start with Jackson sidelined. He was knocked out of last week’s game in Pittsburgh due to a concussion, but he has cleared protocol, so rookie QB Anthony Brown will be the backup.

The Browns are moderate favorites despite a losing record overall, and a poor overall history against Baltimore through the years.

Against the spread

If you just can’t trust the RAVENS +3 (-114) to win straight up then surely you have to take Baltimore and the points as this is going to be a close game.

However, I think the Ravens are going to win outright, similar to the last 2 weekends. Baltimore will lean on short to intermediate passes on offense while relying heavily upon its defense.

Over/Under

UNDER 39 (-111) is a very low number, but if the past 2 games are any indication for Baltimore, this is actually much higher than we’ll see.

The weather forecast calls for flurries along Lake Erie, which won’t affect much. However, the winds are forecast to be whipping anywhere from 15-25 mph, so that should limit the vertical game for both sides significantly. Running keeps the clock running and keeps the scores low.

First look: Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns odds and lines

Looking at Sunday’s Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns Week 14 NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

The Baltimore Ravens (8-4) and Cleveland Browns (6-6) clash in a Week 14 showdown Sunday. Kickoff from FirstEnergy Stadium is slated for 1 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Ravens vs. Browns odds and lines; check back for our NFL picks and predictions.

Also see: All Week 14 odds and lines

Baltimore lost at Pittsburgh in Week 13, falling 20-19 after a wild, five-score fourth quarter. The Ravens went into the final frame leading 10-3. A Baltimore team that has played at home just once since Nov. 7 now preps for a fourth road game in five weeks.

The Browns and Ravens met in Baltimore Nov. 28, and the Browns had a bye in Week 13, so Cleveland is facing Baltimore for a second straight game. Passing troubles have led to the Browns going 3-5 over their last eight games. Cleveland has averaged 204.4 passing yards per contest over that stretch.
