The month of November was not good to the Alabama Crimson Tide. After starting the season 8-0, the team dropped two out of its four games during Thanksgiving month, which were both to top rivals.

Included in the loss column is Auburn, who were able to escape the Iron Bowl with a 48-45 win over the Crimson Tide.

As a result of that loss, Alabama, once again, fell in the latest edition of the Amway Coaches Poll, which came out on Sunday. In that poll, they were ranked No. 9, still in front of the in-state Tigers (No. 12).

Other notable changes from the Coaches Poll include the following:

  • Wisconsin moved up from No. 14 into the top 10 after a decisive victory over Minnesota, who dropped to No. 15
  • Michigan dropped seven spots to No. 18 after suffering its third loss of the season, which was a blowout to arch-rival Ohio State
  • Virginia found its way back into the top 25 (No. 22) after beating Virginia Tech

And here is the top 25 from the Coaches Poll in its entirety:

1. LSU (12-0)

2. Ohio State (12-0)

3. Clemson (12-0)

4. Georgia (11-1)

5. Utah (11-1)

6. Oklahoma (11-1)

7. Florida (10-2)

8. Baylor (11-1)

9. Alabama (10-2)

10. Wisconsin (10-2)

11. Penn State (10-2)

12. Auburn (9-3)

13. Oregon (10-2)

14. Notre Dame (10-2)

15. Minnesota (10-2)

16. Memphis (11-1)

17. Boise State (11-1)

18. Michigan (9-3)

19. Iowa (9-3)

20. Appalachian State (11-1)

21. Cincinnati (10-2)

22. Virginia (9-3)

23. Navy (9-2)

24. USC (8-4)

25. Air Force (10-2)

Alabama’s regular season has wrapped, so it will be interesting to see where the Crimson Tide ends up in their bowl game.

Alabama football fans are crying all over the Twitter timeline

Well, today was pretty damn awesome! Georgia beat Georgia Tech 52-7 to reclaim the Governor’s Cup and Auburn beat Alabama to eliminate the Crimson Tide from playoff contention.

Of course, there was a pretty controversial clock stoppage before halftime that caused Auburn to get a field goal over Alabama, but in the end, the Tigers deserved to win.

Fight me. I don’t care. Alabama lost and that’s that.

Now, enjoy the reactions from angry Tide fans.

This wasn’t a Bama tweet, but it was funny.

Alright…

Awe.

Uhh what?

So there’s this…

Then this.. Pick one.

Keep politics out of the Iron Bowl haha!

Yes, that’s our Roll Tide Wire co-worker….

He actually handled the loss pretty well, but others did not.

War Damn Eagle!

Georgia’s win over Auburn looks stronger now as well. Auburn lives for the Iron Bowl and won their biggest game on the season. The Tigers persevered after facing a brutal schedule.
