Adam Rank is the only one who believed in the Broncos

Adam Rank correctly predicted the Broncos would beat the Chiefs, Bills and Vikings. Let’s keep this run going!

After starting the season with a 0-3 record, the Denver Broncos were viewed as a contender for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft, and nobody expected Sean Payton’s team to make a playoff push.

Well, almost nobody.

Perhaps NFL.com’s Adam Rank knew something we didn’t.

After the Broncos limped to 2-5, Rank predicted Denver would upset the Kansas City Chiefs 20-17. The Broncos went on to beat KC 24-9.

The next week, Rank predicted a 24-23 Broncos win over the Buffalo Bills. Denver went on to win 24-22.

Last week, Rank predicted a 21-14 victory for the Broncos against the Minnesota Vikings. Denver went on to win 22-21.

Making the predictions even sweeter was the fact that Rank’s colleagues all picked the Broncos’ opponents to win during Denver’s recent winning streak.

Before anyone accuses Rank of being a simple homer, consider that he predicted the Broncos would go 2-14 in 2019 (they went 7-9 that year). He’s not a secret Broncos fan — he’s just an NFL.com analyst making game picks, and his Denver picks have been perfect over the last three weeks.

NFL Network analyst predicts Browns will finish with a 6-11 record

Do you agree with Adam Rank’s prediction?

The Cleveland Browns open up the regular season against the Cincinnati Bengals in 32 days and it’s time for everyone to make their record prediction. NFL Network’s Adam Rank had an interesting prediction for Cleveland going game by game he predicted the team to finish 6-11. This includes losses to bad teams like the Bears, Colts, Texans, and Broncos.

Last year the team was 7-10 with a backup quarterback and trying to change the offense towards the end of the year for Deshaun Watson. This was also with a defense that struggled and has been significantly upgraded both in talent and coaching. The team is facing a fourth-place schedule and has talent all over the roster, this prediction doesn’t make much sense at all.

The defense has added Jim Schwartz and finally given Myles Garrett significant help in the pass rush game. Za’Darius Smith and Ogbo Okoronkwo paired with Garrett will make one of the best if not the best trio of pass rushers in the NFL.

The team also added a ton of talent for Watson on the offensive side with Elijah Moore, Jordan Akins, and rookie Cedric Tillman that will change the passing game that lacked depth and explosiveness last year. Watson has looked night and day different already in training camp and yes it needs to translate onto the field but this team is not a 6-11 roster.

All of that being said barring a major injury the odds of Rank being right are pretty low based on the talent on this roster.

NFL Network predicts outcome of every Colts game in 2023

NFL Network’s Adam Rank predicted the outcome of every Colts game in 2023.

The Indianapolis Colts are hoping to turn the page into a new era with a first-year head coach and rookie quarterback coming off a four-win campaign in 2022.

While the Colts have one of the softest strengths of schedules entering the new season, the combination of a first-year head coach and rookie quarterback makes it difficult to pinpoint just where the team will land in terms of predicting how the season will unfold.

We gave our game-by-game predictions in a way-too-early fashion back in May when the schedule was released. Now, NFL Network’s Adam Rank did the same at the beginning of the month.

Here’s a look at how Rank sees each game shaking out for the Colts in 2023

NFL Network predicts outcome of every game on Vikings 2023 schedule

NFL Network’s Adam Rank predicted every game on the Minnesota Vikings’ 2023 schedule

After going 13-4 in the 2022 season, predictions are all over the place for 2023. The Detroit Lions are the current betting favorite to win the division but the Minnesota Vikings are in a position to repeat as division champions.

Expectations are high as the Vikings continue with their competitive rebuild, but the schedule isn’t favorable to the Vikings.

NFL Network’s Adam Rank predicted all 17 Vikings games and had them finishing four games–yes, four–behind the Chicago Bears. Here is how Rank predicted the Vikings’ 2023 season.

Adam Rank predicts Vikings finish 4th in division

Not only did Rank pick the Vikings to finish last in the NFC North, but he also pick the Bears to win 4 more games. Seems backwards, right?

Every offseason, many analysts predict the NFL schedule as a way to generate conversation during the doldrums of summer. NFL Network’s Adam Rank predicted the record of every team and has the Minnesota Vikings finishing 8-9, which tied for last in the division. The Green Bay Packers are also projected to finish 8-9 with the Detroit Lions at 9-8.

What might be the craziest prediction from Rank is that he has the Chicago Bears going 12-5 this season and winning the NFC North. Last season, Rank projected the Vikings to go 7-10 and they won six more games. On the flip side, he also had the Bears going 10-7 and they only won three games.

Predicting the rebuilding Bears to win four more games than the reigning division champion Vikings is a bold choice, but Rank has a history of overvaluing the Bears. He is likely doing the same this year, because they are not a better team on paper than the purple and gold.

It’s only June, but predictions for the 2023 NFL season have been underway for quite some time.

We gave our predictions for Bucs Wire earlier in the offseason, and now, NFL Network’s Adam Rank has given his predictions for Tampa Bay’s 2023 NFL season – and for every other team, in fact. Interestingly enough, his final record didn’t look too much different from ours.

NFL.com’s Adam Rank predicts Broncos will go 12-5 this season

Adam Rank predicts the Broncos will finish 12-5 this season. We’ll take it!

The football conglomerate is aboard the Denver Broncos hype train.

Like with Broncos Wire’s win-loss predictions for next season, NFL.com’s Adam Rank pegs a 12-5 record for the Broncos next season as well.

The Broncos best Russell Wilson‘s former team, the Seattle Seahawks Week 1 and start 3-0, according to Rank. Then, the Broncos total a five-game winning streak starting Week 7 with a win against the New York Jets. The team’s streak breaks Week 13 against the Lamar Jackson-led Baltimore Ravens.

After a two-game losing streak to the Los Angeles Rams and the Kansas City Chiefs, respectively, the Broncos beat the Los Angeles Chargers to close out the season, according to Rank.

Perhaps the only curveball in the schedule prediction, Rank believes the Broncos can beat the Chiefs next season. We’ll see. Rank’s 12-5 prediction comes on the heels of coworker Willie McGinest predicting a 9-8 record for the Broncos. Check out Rank break down the Broncos’ schedule above.

NFL Network predicts outcome of every Eagles game in 2022

NFL Network predicts the outcome of every Philadelphia Eagles game in 2022

The Eagles are on a break until the start of training camp in July, but that has stopped experts and prognosticators from predicting the team’s final record at the season’s end.

Philadelphia added Haason Reddick, James Bradberry, Kyzir White, Nakobe Dean, and Jordan Davis on defense while pulling off a draft night trade for former Titans star A.J. Brown, further increasing expectations.

We shared our way-too-early game-by-game predictions for the Eagles last week, and now, NFL Network’s Adam Rank is doing the same.

Here’s a look at how Rank sees each game shaking out for the Eagles in 2022, with his predictions for Philadelphia coming at the 2:09 mark of the video and lasting until the 4:17 mark.

NFL Network predicts outcome of every Saints game in 2022

NFL Network predicts the outcome of every Saints game in 2022, with a worse record than they finished with in 2021:

NFL Network’s Adam Rank forecast the records for all 32 NFL teams, and he didn’t take a favorable view of the New Orleans Saints. Despite their gutsy performances against the reigning NFC South champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the past, he’s predicting a worse finish than last year without Sean Payton at the helm in New Orleans.

Adam Rank of NFL.com ‘bullish’ on Ravens in 2021

Adam Rank of NFL.com ‘bullish’ on Ravens in 2021

The Baltimore Ravens are expecting to do big things during the 2021 season. With the way that the past few seasons have ended for the team, they’re hungry to not only prove their doubters wrong, but more importantly achieve their goals and aspirations that they’ve had for a long time.

Adam Rank of NFL.com has been looking at each NFL team in his “State of the Franchise” series. When looking at Baltimore, Rank looks at key dates, “VIP’s” on the Ravens’ roster, multiple storylines for the team and much more. He also talked about what Baltimore must do to make the 2021 season a success, believing that a Super Bowl appearance in that must.

“You had that whole “Lamar can’t win a playoff game” thing hanging over him, and now that’s gone. The next logical step would be a trip to the conference championship game, but I think we’re too far down the road. It’s like having a child with your significant other, but not thinking that you’re enough of a couple for a joint Christmas Card photo. I mean, you’re past that point already.”

Rank wrapped up his thoughts on the Ravens by saying that he’s “bullish” on the team in 2021.

“I’m bullish on Baltimore this year, despite the fact that the Ravens have one of the league’s toughest schedules. But as long as the defense can stay in the top 10 — and it’s the Ravens, so of course that’s going to happen — I look for the offense to improve on last year’s No. 19 ranking in total yardage, which could make Baltimore the most dangerous AFC team outside of Kansas City.”

Baltimore is a team that can achieve great things if they live up to their potential. Rank certainly sees how great this team can be, and a big leap could be incoming for a franchise that is motivated after seeing multiple seasons come to an end in heartbreaking ways.
