2023 New York Jets Super Bowl odds with conference, division and win total best bets

Analyzing 2023 NFL Super Bowl odds for the New York Jets, including best bets for win total, conference and division titles.

The New York Jets started the 2022 season with so much promise. But after major struggles by QB Zach Wilson and having to turn to multiple QBs in hopes to save the season, the Jets finished last in the AFC East at 7-10. Although the Jets did not lose any major pieces this offseason, the team made major upgrades in many areas.

QB Aaron Rodgers comes in to replace Wilson behind center. He has brought with him numerous wideouts to fill out the roster as Mecole Hardman, Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb will join Rookie of the Year Garrett Wilson and Corey Davis in the receiver’s room. RB Breece Hall will look to return healthy after suffering an ACL injury while on his way to a good rookie season.

Not only was the offense upgraded, but with the team drafting DE Will McDonald IV at No. 15 in the NFL Draft, the defense should also be an even better unit than the top-5 unit seen in 2022.

Below, we look at the New York Jets 2023 NFL Super Bowl odds from FanDuel Sportsbook along with projected win total, playoff, conference and division odds as we make our best NFL picks and predictions.

Jets over/under win total

Odds provided by FanDuel Sportsbook  – last updated May 16 at 12:17 a.m. ET; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list.

  • 9.5 wins: (Over: -134 | Under: +110)

This number is inflated due to the addition of Rogers in the offseason. Rogers rarely has a losing record. But last season with the Packers was one of those rare seasons. The last time Rogers was doubted, he ran off 2 straight MVP awards. If he is still capable of this play, the over could be an easy wager here. But the road is going to be tough.

Before a Week 7 bye, the Jets will take on the Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys, and Philadelphia Eagles. They will also take on the New England Patriots on a short week . This is a difficult schedule and will be a big welcome to Rogers in New York.

This number is too inflated to wager on. This is either a PASS or UNDER bet at the current odds.

Jets Super Bowl odds

  • +1400 (bet $100 to win $1,400)

The odds for the Jets to win the Super Bowl come in directly behind a Cowboys team which went 12-5 in 2022 and won its 1st playoff game before losing to the 49ers in the Divisional Round.

Rodgers will add a lot to the Jets, but not 5 wins worth of value.

While the defense with CB Sauce Gardner and DL Quinnen Williams will be good once again, the team still must compete with the Bills in the division and the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals in the conference.

Much like the Detroit Lions in the NFC, the hype has gotten out of control for the Jets. This has taken all value out of most of the Jets betting lines. Including the Super Bowl.

If the public stops playing the Jets and the number drops below +2000 or +2500, an inclination might be there to make a play. At +1400, it cannot be done.

Will the Jets make the playoffs?

  • Yes -162 | No +132

Another line in which the Jets are inflated.

For this to hit, you will need to decide which of the Los Angeles Chargers or Miami  Dolphins will fall out of the playoffs. You will also need to hope that, with QB Lamar Jackson back, the Baltimore Ravens do not take a jump back into the playoff picture. This is a lot of variables for a team which finished last in its own division last season.

While the Jets should be more competitive, it does not mean more wins will be had in New York. Other teams like the Ravens and Chargers are more trustworthy than the Jets. Even the Pittsburgh Steelers would be a good bet to ruin this bet. Therefore, if any bet is made here, it should be on the No (+132).

Odds to win AFC East Division

  • Bills -+130 (bet $100 to win $130)
  • Jets +250 (bet $100 to win $250)
  • Dolphins +290 (bet $100 to win $290)
  • Patriots +750 (bet $100 to win $750)

The Jets, at +250 have the 2nd-best odds to win the AFC East. While they are still far behind the Bills, the odds are solid and taking a chance on them could be the best value of any wager for the team.

While the Bills are still the best team and the agreed favorite, if the Jets and Rogers can click, the chance for them to win becomes great.

Of all the wagers on the Jets, this offers the BEST VALUE to wager on.

Jets odds to win AFC

  • +900 (bet $100 to win $900)

The Jets have the 4th-best odds in the AFC to win the conference.

Behind only the Chiefs, Bills and Bengals, the Jets are being given royal treatment by the public. This treatment has driven the number to such a point where there is no value.

With the Ravens sitting at +1000 and the Jaguars at +1500, a wager on other teams will have far more value. So +900 is not a play worth making on the Jets. If the number moves to +1500 or higher, than a small play could be in order.
