After shooting an 8-under 62 in the opening round, the 31-year-old pro from Los Angeles followed it up with a 67 and 68. He’ll take a 1-shot lead into the final round as he tries for his 2nd tour title and 2nd of the season (he won the Valero Texas Open in April). Spaun started the tournament in 26th place in the FedExCup standings.

Sepp Straka (+1000)

The 29-year-old native of Vienna, Austria, opened the tournament tied for the longest odds to win at +50000. He enters Sunday’s final round a stroke back at 12-under 198 after rounds of 64-66-68 as he tries for his 2nd career win and 2nd this season (he won the Honda Classic in February). The 225th player in Golfweek’s rankings started 36th in the FedExCup standings.

Tony Finau (+2000): He starts tied for 8th place 4 shots back at 9-under after rounds of 64-68-69. Golfweek’s No. 18 player opened at +2000.
