Super Bowl Silver: Best of Ad Meter commercials over 25 years

While you might not remember the winner (or loser) from every Super Bowl of the past 25 years, chances are, you can recall a few of the commercials. From a financially savvy baby explaining how he trades online to a dog named Weego to a red M&M …

61. Olay: “Killer skin” (Super Bowl LIII, 2019)

Every late-90’s slasher flick fan was on the edge of their seat during Olay’s 2019 spot that featured Sarah Michelle Gellar (Prinze). The 60-second spot was classic “Masked man coming after ya!” and even had the requisite unexpected twist (toward brighter skin, of course).

62. M&M’S: “I’m Human” (Super Bowl LII, 2018)

The plot to this 2018 hit says it all: Danny DeVito is the Red M&M’s human persona. That’s must-see TV!

63. Honda: “Yearbooks” (Super Bowl LI, 2017)

Rated the second-highest commercial on Ad Meter in 2017, Honda opened a few special yearbooks and paved the way through the awkwardness and self-doubt of yesteryear with the help of young Tina Fey, Robert Redford, Amy Adams, Magic Johnson, and more.

64. Dannon Oikos: “Tease”  (Super Bowl XLVI, 2012)

John Stamos’ tricks of the tease were met head-on in this 2012 favorite, with Full House’s Uncle Jesse on the losing end of the temptation.

65. Budweiser: “Stand by You” (Super Bowl LII, 2018)

With a little help from a perfect rendition of Ben E. King’s “Stand by Me,” Budweiser gave the horses and dogs and ad off and reminded King of Beers fans that they’re more than just a beer company.
