Steph Curry’s epic 50-point performance in Game 7 had the NBA world justifiably in awe

One of his best performances ever.

When the season is on the line, you expect the best players to show up. And on Sunday, Stephen Curry did that … and then some.

The Golden State Warriors kept their title defense alive with a 120-100 win over the Sacramento Kings in a Game 7 matchup at Golden 1 Center. And of course, it was Curry who led the way for Golden State.

The Warriors star scored 50 points (30 of which came in the second half) on a career-high 38 field goal attempts in one of the most assertive performances of Curry’s legendary career. It was the most points ever in a Game 7. The win also sets up a LeBron vs. Steph showdown in the second round.

Curry has had too many epic games to count in his career, but this one had to be special, particularly after the Warriors’ struggles on the road all season.

The entire NBA world just had to stop and show respect for Steph after a game like that.
