We should know on Tuesday the extent of the knee injury suffered by Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson this week. Johnson went down in a heap on the final play of the game on a completely meaningless attempt to score in a game the Steelers couldn’t win.
Johnson took to Instagram on Monday to offer something of an update that came across less than optimistic that he will be returning anytime soon.
The fact Johnson calls it a comeback tells me Johnson is going to be out an extended period of time. This not only hurts a struggling offense but further illustrates how asinine it was for him to be out there in that position at all.
