On Tuesday, the Pittsburgh Steelers announced a pair of roster moves on the practice squad. The Steelers signed linebacker Ryan Anderson and tight end Rodney Williams and to make room on the practice squad released tight end Justin Rigg and wide receiver Jaquarii Roberson.

Anderson is a former second-round pick and could provide the Steelers with some depth at outside linebacker. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin announced on Tuesday that outside linebacker T.J. Watt would miss at a minimum this week’s game against the New England Patriots with his torn pectoral injury.

During the course of his five-year career, Anderson has six career sacks. In 2019, Anderson started four games for Washington and had four sacks.
