It’s no secret that the Philadelphia 76ers are interested in trading for a shooter to add to their arsenal in order to gear up for a deep playoff run and that remains the case as the February 6 deadline continues to creep closer.
The Sixers have been linked to players such as Luke Kennard and Langston Galloway and most recently Derrick Rose, but the name that continues to pop up has been former Sixer forward Robert Covington. You can now add Sacramento Kings guard Bogdan Bogdanovic to that mix of players.
Bogdanovic and Covington are two shooters who can help space the floor for Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid to operate. Covington, of course, spent 4.5 seasons in Philadelphia so he would know how coach Brett Brown likes to run things and he has chemistry with both Simmons and Embiid.
Per NBA source, Sixers are currently focusing on Bogdan Bogdanovic, & Robert Covington as potential deadline acquisitions.

Bogdanovic would probably be a better fit due to his ability to make plays for himself as well as others. He is averaging 14.3 points and 3.6 assists while also shooting 37.6% from deep in 32 games for the Kings, all while coming off the bench.
Philadelphia does not have many assets to really negotiate with as their main asset to give up is Zhaire Smith who is not the most coveted player in the league. It would take a lot of negotiating to get this one done. [lawrence-related id=24037,24012,24005]
