Sixers proud of their effort to rally and beat Raptors on the road

The Philadelphia 76ers were proud of their effort to rally from 17 points down to beat the Toronto Raptors on the road.

TORONTO–The Philadelphia 76ers had yet to be tested in these NBA Playoffs after cruising to two easy wins at home to start this series with the Toronto Raptors. They took Game 1 by 20 points and then led by as many as 29 points in Game 2.

On Wednesday night in Game 3, they found themselves trailing the Raptors by 17 points on the road in a very hostile environment at Scotiabank Arena and they were able to dig deep and rally. The night ended in overtime when Joel Embiid drilled a fadeaway triple with 0.8 seconds left that no 7-foot man should be able to do to give the Sixers the win.

It was a terrific effort for a team that hadn’t gone through any real playoff wars just yet like the one they battled through in Game 3.
