The summer league was a solid one for the Philadelphia 76ers who had a positive record and saw players develop. While the focus is mostly on the second-year players, the rookie had a solid ending.
Jaden Springer, who was the No. 28 pick in the 2021 NBA draft, ended the summer league by scoring 21 points on 8-for-14 shooting and knocking down five of six free throws. The fact he showed his offensive game in the finale provides hope he can be an all-around player with his defensive acumen.
Springer received a big shoutout from veteran forward Tobias Harris. Both are former Tennessee Vols, and Harris is a leader who wants to see the younger guys succeed.

Springer will have to earn his spot: He is an 18-year-old rookie playing for a team that has a shot at winning a championship. Playing with so many helpful veterans should do wonders for his career; he will be able to learn from everyone.
