The Boston Celtics picked up their second win of the NBA’s 2023 Las Vegas Summer League on Saturday evening, beating the Orlando Magic, 94-77, moments after news broke of the Celtics signing guard Jay Scrubb to a two-way deal for the 2023-24 season.
Boston won convincingly behind a bench-driven effort: Three players came off the pine to put up double figures. The Celtics were led by forward Vincent Valerio-Bodon with 13 points and 6 rebounds; center Reggie Kisoonlal with 12 points, 5 boards and 2 blocks; and guard Kamar Baldwin with 10 points and 6 assists.
Among the starters, wing Jordan Walsh (12 points, 4 rebounds) and forward Justin Bean (10 points) helped secure the win.
