Seth Rollins says WrestleMania match with Logan Paul ‘was a great time, and I’d love to do it again’

Seth Rollins said his match with Logan Paul was “on par with any of the other WrestleMania matches that I’ve ever had.”

Seth Rollins is sitting pretty right now as World Heavyweight Champion, a title he’s vowed to elevate to a place of prestige within WWE. Earlier this year, however, he was tasked with a different kind of challenge: putting on a showstopper with Logan Paul at WrestleMania.

They pulled that off, which should come as no surprise given Rollins’ excellence in the ring with anyone. Yet Paul deserves credit too, as despite his somewhat divisive personality, he’s shown himself to be a quick study in the pro wrestling game and someone willing to put in the work to have good matches.

Rollins agrees, telling the Mark Andrews: My Love Letter to Wrestling podcast (h/t Fightful) that he was impressed by Paul’s preparedness.

Say what you will about his personality and how he conducts himself outside of the ring and his different exploits and all that, I don’t pretend to comment or know about all that stuff. But he’s a hard-working cat, he is a hustler, and I don’t think you get to his level of success just kind of phoning it in. He’s a hustler, he did everything that he needed to do to get himself as ready as someone in his position could be for a match like that, and I think you saw the end result. It’s on par with any of the other WrestleMania matches that I’ve ever had. That’s a testament to me and how fantastic I am, but also it’s a testament to him and how much hard work he put in, and got himself in the absolute best possible position to succeed. So it was a great time, and I’d love to do it again.

Paul hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since WrestleMania, and his original deal with the company was said to be done with that match. However, he signed a multi-year deal to continue with WWE later in April, and has recently said on his Impaulsive podcast that he’s “hungry” to get back in the ring.

That doesn’t necessarily mean he and Rollins would run it back, of course, but at least we know the Visionary would be open to the idea.
