Sean McDermott compares Bills crowd to ‘jet engines’ vs. Dolphins

#BillsMafia was loud (as usual):

It was a louder than loud day in Orchard Park on Sunday.

The Bills (3-1) took the lead in the AFC East by defeating the Dolphins (3-1) to the tune of a 48-20 final.

Bills Mafia played a part, too. Known for being a loud and passionate fan base, even those on the field felt like this one was different. In fact, it was so loud, it even alternated the way plays were called on defense.

“We knew coming into this game there would be a little more energy,” safety Taylor Rapp said following the game. “Bills Mafia coming to life.”

Head coach Sean McDermott said he had trouble communicating the play calls with linebacker Terrel Bernard. He went as far as comparing the noise in Highmark Stadium to a runway.

“I don’t know how in our world it can get any louder. It sounded like jet engines,” he said.
