Seahawks WR Tyler Locket is ‘OK’ after twisting knee in loss to Vikings

Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Locket is OK after twisting his knee on a play in Seattle’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings Week 3.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett gave everyone quite a scare Sunday afternoon against the Minnesota Vikings when he remained down on the field for a time following a play.

Benches immediately cleared and teammates and staff ran out to make sure the star wide receiver wasn’t seriously injured. Fortunately, that turned out to be the case.

“He was OK,” coach Pete Carroll said after the game. “It was such an unusual situation, he got twisted, and he just wanted – because he was so close to getting hurt – he wanted to make sure he was all right.

“It was really an awkward position he was in, and his foot released just when it had to fortunately to save him.”

Lockett did eventually return to the contest, but by then it was too late. The Seahawks lost 30-17 to the Vikings and fell to 1-2 on the year.
