Club América returns to Liga MX play on Saturday night as it travels to face Santos Laguna at the Estadio Corona.
América is coming off a 4-0 win over the New England Revolution on Tuesday in the first leg of a Concacaf Champions Cup quarterfinal.
Though Las Aguilas face a quick turnaround with the Revs coming to Mexico City on Tuesday, the margin of victory means coach André Jardine should have the luxury of rotating his squad for the second leg.
That means that América should be able to field a strong side on Saturday as it aims to maintain its hold on first place in Liga MX.

América has lost just one league match thus far in the Clausura, and is level with Monterrey on points atop the table.
It’s been a difficult campaign for Santos, which enters the match in 12th place. Los Guerreros let a late lead slip last weekend at Juárez, which scored twice in the final minutes to secure a 2-1 home win.
