Rutgers football is ranked (and rising) in the latest poll from FoxSports.com. They are one of eight Big Ten teams in the poll.

Fresh off a 3-0 start that includes two blowout wins, the Scarlet Knights seem to be trending up. And the latest top 25 poll from FoxSports has Rutgers once again moving up the rankings of this particular poll.

Rutgers is receiving votes in the latest USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll for a third straight week.

A 43-15 win over Delaware on Saturday afternoon has Rutgers ranked No. 15 in the nation in the FoxSports poll. The poll is compiled and written by national college football writer R.J. Young.

Rutgers cracked the poll by Young after Week 1 following an impressive win over Temple, checking in at No. 24. They then rose to No. 16 last week after beating Syracuse.

The Scarlet Knights moved up one more spot with their win over Delaware, who came into the game No. 6 in the FCS.

Two Big Ten teams are in the polls top five: No. 4 Iowa (comfortably beat Kent State) and No. 5 Penn State (beat a ranked Auburn).

Also in the top 10 in Ohio State at No. 8, who struggled to beat Tulsa at home.

The rest of the ranked Big Ten teams: No. 16 Michigan State (beat a ranked Miami), No. 19 Maryland (struggled at times but won at Illinois), No. 20 Michigan (impressive 63-10 win over Northern Illinois), and No. 21 Wisconsin (off this past week).
