Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Josh Giddey could return to play on Saturday versus the Indiana Pacers in the Las Vegas Summer League, according to Liam Santamaria of ESPN Australia.
Giddey has played only five minutes in summer league after suffering a sprained left ankle in his debut with the Thunder on Sunday. He has been listed as day-to-day since the injury and has missed the last two games for the Thunder.
The injury was not considered to be serious as the team held him out for precautionary measures. After sitting each of the past two games, there is a chance Giddey could return to the lineup on Saturday.
ESPN Australia reporter @Liam_Santa on Josh Giddey: "I'm told he has a chance to suit back up tomorrow."
OKC plays the Pacers at 5pm on Saturday and have one final game on Monday or Tuesday.
Giddey's return would be the biggest Thunder Summer League news since, well, ever. https://t.co/q4sAEscf7A

The Thunder have two games left in summer league and it appears as though Giddey could return to play in one or both of those contests. The team has been cautious with the injury but it looks like he could be nearing a return to the court.
