RGIII ranks his top 5 college football teams ahead of Week 4

Robert Griffin III ranks drops Georgia from the No. 1 spot in his latest edition of college football rankings

College football analyst and former Heisman winner Robert Griffin III has ranked his top five college football teams ahead of Week 4.

Week 4 features an interesting schedule including Tennessee at Oklahoma, Illinois at Nebraska, USC at Michigan, Utah at Oklahoma State, and UCLA at LSU. Robert Griffin III has a new No. 1 following last week’s action, which featured the Georgia Bulldogs narrowly defeating the Kentucky Wildcats.

The expanded College Football Playoff means that more teams will stay in contention for a playoff berth, but the national championship winner will probably not be a fringe playoff team.

Who are Robert Griffin III’s top five college football teams? Where does he rank the Georgia Bulldogs?

No. 5 Ole Miss Rebels

Ole Miss Rebels quarterback Jaxson Dart and the Rebels demolished Wake Forest 40-6 in Week 3. The Rebels have an easy game at home in Week 4 against Georgia Southern.

Last week, Alabama used a strong game from quarterback Jalen Milroe and wide receiver Ryan Williams to cruise to 42-10 road win over Wisconsin. Alabama is No. 2 in our latest SEC power rankings. The Crimson Tide have Week 4 off ahead of their Sept. 28 top-five battle with Georgia.

No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes

Ohio State had a bye in Week 3 and will not play its first Power Four team until the Buckeyes face Michigan State on Sept. 28. Ohio State’s Week 4 game against Marshall will probably be another snoozer

No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs

The Georgia Bulldogs did not impress too many folks with their 13-12 win oer Kentucky Wildcats in Week 3. UGA has Week 4 off ahead of the Bulldogs’ Week 5 game at Alabama.

The Texas Longhorns are Robert Griffin III’s new No. 1 team in the country. The Longhorns lost star quarterback Quinn Ewers to an injury in their dominant Week 3 win against UTSA, but Arch Manning looked dominant with Ewers out of the game.
