Report: Kyler Murray suffered ankle sprain, could be 1-3 week injury

FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer says that Murray could be looking at a one to three-week injury, although there is a chance he plays this week.

The Arizona Cardinals have had to deal with a number of injuries already this year and, coming off their Week 8 loss to the Green Bay Packers, might have to add quarterback Kyler Murray to the list of injured players.

In the final drive of the game, according to FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer on the network’s NFL pregame show on Sunday, Murray “legitimately sprained his ankle.” This doesn’t necessarily mean he will miss any time, but Glazer said it is a “one to three-week injury.”

Murray limped off the field after the game-sealing interception in the final seconds and was seen wearing a walking boot to leave the stadium.

Murray said he would be okay and that “a guy rolled up on” him.

The Cardinals will be back at the training center Monday and he will certainly receive treatment. Glazer notes that if swelling is down, he could play this week.

The Cardinals will release their first injury report of the week on Wednesday.
