The Rockets have seemed to be in the dark about James Harden’s future in Houston as much as anyone. Even though they appear to be determined to hold onto the star, the line of dialogue between his camp and the Rockets has come across as fractured at best.
But now there’s a chance to find a resolution. Harden has finally reported to camp in Houston, according to ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski. The guard was expected to arrive in camp on Sunday. After he didn’t, Rockets head coach Stephen Silas expressed Harden’s continued delayed arrival was a setback in the franchise’s dealings with the star.
It is still unclear what Harden’s plans are, even though this is quite a major development.
As far as the Nets’ go in all of this, Brooklyn is still reportedly his ideal landing spot, but Woj is also reporting Harden is open to joining the Philadelphia 76ers.
