Roll Tide Wire has learned that the Alabama Crimson Tide looks to be adding Freddie Roach to the coaching staff at Alabama.
It should also be noted that those at BamaInsider are reporting that news as well.
Roach, who is currently serving as the defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator at Ole Miss, has been a part of the Crimson Tide staff before.
From 2015-2016, Roach was the director of player development. Before that from 2008-2010, Roach was an assistant strength and conditioning coach.
This time around, Roach will more than likely be the new defensive line coach, replacing Brian Baker, who will be moved to an off the field role.
Roach played linebacker at Alabama from 2002-2005 racked up over 3,000 career rushing yards, had over 500 career tackles and 11 blocked kicks.
