Following the slew of roster decisions the Buffalo Bills had to make last week, tight end Dawson Knox has helped his team out in the salary cap department.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Knox and the Bills have agreed to a “reworked” deal. The details are sparse, but the important note in that it will bring down his $14.4 million cap hit he was slated to have in 2024:

The new contract from Knox comes on the heels of his worst season in the NFL.  Knox recorded a career low of 22 receptions for 180 yards, and only two touchdowns. Dalton Kincaid was Buffalo’s first-round rookie in 2023 as well.
